My father teaches Chinese calligraphy (书法) as it is his passion. If you are interested in the art of calligraphy, the technicalities behind Chinese calligraphy (stroke order, harmony, correct strokes, etc.) and would love to hear more about the history behind calligraphy and the characters, this class might be something for you. Previous knowledge is not required but a basic understanding of Chinese characters (traditional or simplified) and a basis in writing would be helpful. However, we could build it up from scratch as well. Equipment can be provided during the classes (brush, ink and paper).

I give traditional & modern flamenco guitar lessons. From the age of 9 to 60. Starting from lowest level to a professional level. I work with special techniques for the right hand. We work with bulerias, tientos, alegrias, soleas, rumba, fandango, seguiriyas malaguenas... and we make solo creations for the student. I also have my own special methods of teaching flamenco so that the student can reach a high level in playing the guitar. A lesson lasts 60 minutes. Classes are once a week. At the end of each lesson, exercises are given so that the student can practice at home for the next lesson. The schedule is variable.

What does a lesson look like? My philosophy is simple: practice is key. We dive into theory where necessary, but the goal is always to help you play better, not to rote learn. I want to get you ready as quickly as possible to play in a band, join a jam session, or simply play the music you love to hear. These are the standard ingredients of my lessons: - Songs & Repertoire: We'll quickly start by playing along to songs you enjoy. This way, you'll immediately put your technique into practice. - Creativity & Songwriting: You learn not only to play by ear, but also to create your own. How do you build a good bass line? Can't read sheet music, but want to learn? Great, we'll do that. 4. We learn to play along with chord progressions. For absolute beginners: Have you just started? I teach you the basics of salsa, the techniques of guiding and following, the different basic turns, developing the musical ear and dancing in harmony with the rhythm. As you can see I know many kinds of salsa dancing, each one is unique and a lot of fun to learn! Because I can dance as 'man' as 'woman' (in salsa there are different steps for the male and female roles) it doesn't matter if you come alone or with your partner. The price is based on a one-time session, see it as a small workshop, in which I teach you the basics of the salsa you want to learn.
