So whether they need to learn Italian in preparation of a university course, to speak Italian in the workplace, or plan to spend time in Italy working or travelling, I can help students achieving the proficiency they need.

I gathered experience in tutoring whilst completing my Bachelor's degree in Edinburgh and during my Masters degree here in London. My students ranged from beginners looking to learn the basics in order to continue studying Italian in university; intermediate professionals looking to become proficient in business Italian, to advanced people wanting to improve their pronunciation prior to go on holiday to Italy.

I worked in equity sales for a few years following the completion of my Master's degree and I am currently taking a career break.

My three main areas of expertise (not necessarily in this order):

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

- Languages: I specialize in tutoring Italian and Spanish; my style is to keep students challenged and motivated through simple classes and practical exercises (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary).. I'm a demanding teacher but will guide you in a fun and interactive way.

The objective can be to learn the basics of French in order to be able to manage simple daily lfe conversations, or to improve your french and learn more complex aspects of the language.

Hi! I am a native Spanish student spending his last year of a dual BA in London. As a lover of my language with acquired experience on the field of teaching, I would love to be your new Spanish tutor!

Italian is my native languages, I have started teaching italian when I was at Uni in Coventry. Here I had the chance to practice teaching for a various of different students, from student to adult, from european to asian students. This helped me learn to overcome any difficulty that comes with teaching in a mixed class.

Before starting my teaching experience I have attended a training course which was focused in teaching using only the language without translating. Implication helps students understand and remember better as they have to find the rule by themselves instead of simply reading it through a grammar book. I am native italian but I am fluent in French and Spanish. I have an undergraduate bachelor in Applied Languages with Spanish and I study french since the age of three, hence I have also experience in teaching spanish and french.

My lessons are very flexible, focused on active learning. You only learn if you do, if you make mistakes.
I do not like to talk hours not stop about grammar, or how Spanish derived from Latin... That is boring and useless, what I like is hearing you, and speaking with you.
