I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design.

I work in Ableton and I have made or engineered everything from industrial techno to dubstep, acid rock to pop. As such, I am extremely flexible and can focus exclusively on what you are aiming to learn, regardless of what genre or subgenre you want to make. A Bit About Me
I'm Yasha, a Berlin-based producer & songwriter originally from Prague. I've been in the music scene for over a decade, starting with dubstep before transitioning into indie pop, post-punk, and synth pop—which turned out to be the perfect fit! I studied music at BIMM Berlin and have been producing and touring across Europe, supporting artists like Boy Pablo & Nils Kepple.

My latest album, Filip, which I produced and recorded myself, was nominated for two Apollo Music Awards (Album of the Year & Single of the Year) and even a Czech Grammy nomination for Best Artist of the Year!

I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events.
My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project

I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance.

They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative goodies (VSTs, effects, personal racks)

This class introduces the core concepts of film scoring and how music shapes story, emotion, and narrative in film and television. Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and level, from complete beginners to advanced composers, and can focus on electronic, orchestral, or hybrid approaches.

The course also includes analysis and deconstruction of existing film scores to understand compositional techniques and storytelling strategies. Students will learn how to set up and optimize their digital audio workstation for film scoring, define personal creative goals, and work with industry-standard orchestral sample libraries and synthesizers such as Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, and Cinematic Studio Series. Films with sound design and no music can be provided for hands-on scoring exercises, enabling practical experience working directly to picture.
