Hello! My name is Monique, I am from Australia and have been playing violin and viola for over 20 years! My native language is English, however I have a fair level of German, so this is also possible.

I studied both ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) Violin. I am currently working on my ABRSM Diploma. Back in Australia I play the viola in a string quartet. We perform at weddings and corporate events. If you are interested in learning viola, this is also possible.

I have taught violin and viola in the UK for leading national organisations including Opera North, In harmony and Orchestras for All. I have over 10 years of private and school based teaching experience and have taught students from aged 4 to adults. I work mostly in classical, improvisation and new music contexts but can provide lessons in all genres.
