Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, English is an interesting language that many people study but sometimes a difficult language to put it into practice. I've met many people who can write and read English perfectly but have trouble with conversing in English. I think this is because there's no other way to improve in English conversation than actually engaging in English conversation! This class is for anyone who wants to learn English with a focus on English conversation. I have a lot of experiences in teaching English but don't have professional license in teaching, which is why my classes might be priced a bit lower than some others. However, I am definitely a native speaker :) and really do have passion for teaching and empowering people. I've also been in business world since 2009 - I am a CPA so I can teach business English as well as business English usage in email communications. I have been lucky to have spent my life in various places around the world - Korea, US, Japan, and now Australia - and would love to connect with people from different places. Please contact me and we'll get started in learning English. I'm confident you'll improve your English conversational skills after taking my lessons. - I have extensive experience in teaching English in the US and Japan - In the US, I taught English to exchange students from Korea and Japan - In Japan, I've taught English on part-time basis while being a full time university student - I am native speaker of English and Korean - I have passed Japanese Language Proficiency Text Level 2.

Mandarin and English are the two languages that I can teach. Since Feb. 2012, I started to work in Lolokids in Shanghai. It is a part of Longre Education Group. My students were 3-12 years old. I taught them pronunciation and "New Concept English". After a year, I also found a part-time job in Learn First. This time I even had some adult students. They were 30-45 years old. So the range of the students' age was getting larger, it was from 3-45 years old. Mostly, the books that I taught were "Side by Side", but meanwhile I also taught grammar, English conversation and some other materials that students offered to me. I love teaching Chinese students English, and also like teaching foreigners Mandarin. Since 2009, I taught my American colleague Mandarin, and that experience reminded me of being a Mandarin tutor would be a fantastic thing. In Feb. 2011, I got a certificate of International Mandarin Chinese Promotion Institute teacher qualification for the level of Assistant Professor. In May 2013, I got my Certificate of results of test of Putonghua (Mandarin) proficiency with good grade. During these years, I had taught an American business man for couple years. Since May 2014, I began to teach foreigners Mandarin in Mandarin Morning, a training center. My students come from France, Germany, America, Japan,and Spain. The books that I normally teach were "My Chinese Classroom" and "Excel in Chinese-Better Chinese Better Business". Some of the students couldn't even speak a Chinese word. So I can teach students from the beginning level. Also, some of my students can even write Chinese characters, like my Japanese student. His Chinese was at intermediate level to advanced level. I have also been a translator and interpreter for many years. I got my Certificate of Intermediate Interpreter in June 2010. So I believe that studying languages with me will be an interesting thing. Also the most important thing is that I am very patient. Let's start the journey of learning Mandarin or English. Right now I have not started my study in Sydney yet, so I can teach for the whole week. However, since 25 Feb. I can just teach on the weekends.
