I have taught violin and viola in the UK for leading national organisations including Opera North, In harmony and Orchestras for All. I have over 10 years of private and school based teaching experience and have taught students from aged 4 to adults. I also ran an outreach music and arts project in the UK delivering music and art workshops in schools and art galleries as well as online, the project was recognised with two national awards from Deutsche Bank and UnLtd. I have led and conducted school string ensembles and set up beginner string programs for Harrogate Music School, Cardiff Young Strings and The Strings Club, Birmingham. My teaching style incorporates aspects of Dalcroze and Kodaly methodology as well as improvisation and collaborative composition. I develop a bespoke approach alongside each student to ensure they are able to get the most out of their lessons and make lessons enjoyable. My lessons focus on developing technique and skills required to play music the student has chosen and I incorporate play and games into lessons to enable the most effective learning. I work mostly in classical, improvisation and new music contexts but can provide lessons in all genres. Lessons are in English. Regular, irregular and one-off lessons are possible. Ich unterrichte seit vierzehn Jahren, studierte Musikpädagogik, Klavier und Cembalo und durch viele LehrerInnen und SchülerInnen benutze ich viele lustige Wege, um schnell lernen zu können. Dieses Jahr werde ich mich auf Erwachsene und Jugendliche fokussieren. Ich freue mich auf euch. The talking and theory is secondary, most important is to play and then see how to listen and adapt from there. My students have fun, they enjoy our lessons, otherwise they don't practise and make progress :) It is important that our lesson is making you more independant and secure to play and understand music on your own! I have teaching experiences since fourteen years, I studied music education, piano, harpsichord which I will use for your understanding. This year I will only focus on teaching people over 12 years old. If you live 15minutes by bike from me, there is the possibility to come to your home. Costanza is an incredible teacher ! She has very quickly helped me fix bad habits and helped me build a routine that effectively improved the quality of my playing.
