Small Group Painting and Drawing lessons, any level! I am a classically trained painter, I have been painting seriously for 20 years and studied intensively in Florence, Italy. I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready.
Landscape, still life, portrait, expressive. My goal is to help my students improve every time and reach new levels. I provide many examples from art history as well as my own work, and give lots of demonstrations. I offer a personalized approach fitted to each student.
The classes are in a small group format and each student works at their own pace: private classes with other students present, offering a supportive and convivial environment in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve.
I accept students who are looking for longer term learning, not one offs, although a trial session is possible. Commitment is a must to grow! Try out one lesson to see if the class is a good for for you. My students tend to stay with me for the long term, if it is the right fit.
