The purpose of the module is to enable you to identify and describe the structures and functions of various components of the body, ranging from individual cells to organs and systems that cooperate to maintain a healthy body. Students who have enrolled successfully will be able to understand and apply the principles and theory relating to the structural features of human anatomy and the physiological functions of human cells, tissue and organs. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology answers many of the questions as to how cells and organs in our bodies function, co-operate and remain healthy.
