I graduated in violin and chamber music at the Academy of Music in Oslo. I work as a violinist in the European Union Chamber Orchestra. I am mostly teaching solo but I have led many string orchestras and ensambles. For the last 4 years, I have been teaching at Denmarks biggest music academy. I have over 20 years of experience teaching children and adults; from beginner to a very high level. For me, it is important to adapt the teaching to each individual so that the learning process becomes fun and creative. ​ Violin I teach violin at all levels in all age groups. Violin lessons include: • Basic and advanced violin techniques • Hear, listen and imitate • Reading music • Left-hand exercises • Bow techniques • Musical expression and tone quality ​ Piano I teach piano to beginners and intermediate levels at all ages. The piano lessons include: - Accompaniment and piano - Reading music - Rhythm exercises - Musical expression ​ Genres Classical, pop, folk, improvisation. First lesson In the first lesson, I and the student first get to know each other.
