Trusted teacher: I am a consultant at the World Bank and a postdoctoral researcher in applied econometrics at the University of Mons in Belgium. PhD in economics from the Free University of Brussels. Between 2018 and 2024, I helped more than 300 students from all over the world* to pass their econometrics courses and/or master's theses. ECONOMETRICS COURSE I help students understand theoretical models (e.g. OLS, Logit, 2SLS, diff-in-diff, time series) and the interpretation of econometric results in a very pedagogical way. I helped 158 of 160 students pass their econometrics courses. MASTER THESES and PROJECTS I help students build the database, write the theoretical model and produce empirical results (descriptive statistics, graphs, tests and regressions) using Stata, R Studio, Gretl, E-views or Jamovi. I also advise on dissertation structure and writing. All the students who have done their theses with me have passed. In addition, 10 of his students have won the best dissertation award. *List of Universities ---------------------------------------------- • Australia: Deakin University, Brisbane Boys College • Belgium: Université libre de Bruxelles, Université Catolique de Louvain, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Université de Liège, ICHEC, Universiteit Ghent, Université de Mons, Université de Namur, College of Europe, VUB Brussels School of Governance, Université du Luxembourg • Denmark: Københavns Universitet • France: Science Po Paris, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Université Paris-Val de Marne, Université de Bourgogne, IESEG Paris, Université de Lille, Toulouse School of Economics, Université Paris Nanterre • Germany: Universität Mannheim • Ireland: Trinity College Dublin • Italy: Università Bocconi • Netherlands: Universiteit Maastricht, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Universiteit van Amsterdam • Portugal: Nova School of Business • Switzerland: Université de Genève, Université de Lausanne, Universität Luzern, Haute Ecole La Source, UniDistance Suisse • United Kingdom: Imperial College London, University College London, London School of Economics, University of Cambridge, University of Bristol, University of Oxford, University of Kent, University of Bath, King's College London, University of Sheffield, Durham University, University of Sheffield • United States: Texas Tech University, University of Nevada

Trusted teacher: Are you a student and have this anxiety about certain subjects? Do you feel that someone else speaks another language to you during the course? Are you overwhelmed by the quantity and speed of the teacher? Are you just not satisfied with your results? Are you a parent and do you feel helpless when facing your child's difficulties? Do not hesitate! I am Liza and I have been helping many students in math for over 10 years but also to relieve parents from this feeling of helplessness in the face of their children's shortcomings. Math can scare some people. I myself went through a great deal of misunderstanding until I found the method and approach necessary to fully master this dreaded class of students. I offer private lessons to students with specific shortcomings, but also to those with more general needs. My classes are tailor-made for each student. I teach from the first primary to the retho. My method is simple and effective. As a school coach, my goal is above all to understand where the difficulties come from. Each student is different, so it is important to create an effective and tailor-made work methodology. Over the years, I have developed structured and fun keys for everyone. I learned about all the school programs in Namur, but also gained experience in other countries around the world. The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and determine his current level of mathematics, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the goals to be achieved. That is why, during the first session I do with the student a thorough work on the methodology to adopt to facilitate the understanding of the concepts and optimize their return. On the basis of this observation, I define with the pupil and his parents an educational strategy (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of classes) designed to best meet the student's objectives. Then I adapt and base my course on the student program while customizing it according to the student and his needs. Even though theory is very often the least appreciated part, I make sure that my student understands its usefulness in different exercises and problems. To ensure good understanding, I organize exercise sessions and tests. The duration of the course is 2 hours. I always advise 2 hours because it's the perfect time to have the time to: - Identify and fill persistent gaps - Establish effective learning methods - Incorporate reasoning mechanisms - Learn how to restore your knowledge My students greatly appreciate the organization and the clarity of my explanations. Once followed and mastered, success is assured. With Liza it is a relief for parents and a success for children.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students tackle subjects that can feel intimidating at first but are incredibly rewarding once you start to understand them. Whether it's Economics, English, or Business, I’ve seen firsthand how small breakthroughs can lead to big moments of confidence. In Economics, I love taking complex concepts like supply and demand, market structures, and economic policies and breaking them down into something that makes sense. I've had many students who started feeling lost, but once we worked through a few examples together, they realized that economics isn’t as difficult as it seems—it’s all about understanding the patterns and relationships. When it comes to English, I’ve helped countless students refine their writing and communication. Whether it’s crafting a compelling essay, improving grammar, or just feeling more comfortable reading difficult texts, I've been there with my students through every step. The best part? Seeing the growth from struggling with basic concepts to confidently expressing themselves in writing and conversation. And in Business, I’ve worked with students ranging from those who dream of running their own companies to those looking to ace their business courses. Together, we dive into the foundations of marketing, management, and finance, and I love seeing those "aha" moments when the dots connect. It’s such an exciting field because it’s all about real-world applications, and I make sure to tie lessons back to the skills students need for future success. What I’ve learned from tutoring in these subjects is that each student has a unique learning style, and my goal is always to tailor the experience to what works best for them. Whether you need extra help preparing for an exam, want to polish your writing, or are looking to understand how business really works in the world, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My son had his first lesson with David last night. The first thing my son said was ́ómg he knows his stuff ́ ́... I am really impressed that David took the time to to ask my son quite a number of questions so he could gauge the level and the gaps in my son’s learning. It was only one lesson but i am super happy to have found David. my sons reaction tells me that this will be a very important part of his learning..
