Hi there! I'm a native Chinese speaker from China, and I'm currently finishing my master's degree in Zurich, where I’ve been since the autumn of 2023. I will be staying in Zurich after graduation, so I'm excited to share my language and culture with you!

My Mandarin is standard and accent-free. I have experience teaching both one-on-one and in group settings. My teaching style is lively, engaging, and very approachable. I believe learning a new language should be a fun and positive experience!

I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher.

I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner.

In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun.

The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.).

As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful.

Hi! My name is Lucia, I am peruvian living in Germany and in this corona seasons in Zurich- Switzerland. I would love to teach Spanish in a School, particular ( in your place or my place), for adults and kids. The class can also be online (Zoom)!!!

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm from Switzerland but I spent most of last year in Brazil, where I was doing research for my PhD in history and where I was once again in the position of learning a foreign language – a valuable experience for any language teacher. Languages are my passion, whether learning or teaching them.

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language on the most diverse level, in language schools, high schools and even a prison. Dear students,
My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich.
During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. I incorporate meditation and yoga as key elements to ensure a pleasant and optimal experience with the instrument and with oneself.
