I have always enjoyed it very much and have therefore decided to offer lessons myself. In my home studio I have created the ideal environment for fun and efficient drum lessons or to make recordings. The lessons take place in Eben-Emael, a village just across the Walloon border. It is located 5 minutes from the village of Kanne in the municipality of Riemst and 10 minutes from Maastricht (NL). However, the lessons are only given in Dutch or English and not in French. If due to circumstances no lessons can be given, this will be communicated in time or a switch will be made to online lessons. I am also available every day for questions from students or parents. Anything is possible when talking about art! Learning a language is also a matter of motivation and it depends more on the attitude of the teacher than the student's. For that reason, my role is to captivate what the interest of those who I am teaching and help them towards learning a beautiful language while having fun and developing their creativity. In this course, not only you will be able to gain knowledge and fluency in the Spanish language, but you will also be able to expand your creativity and artistic skills by enjoying sessions where these two get mixed. At the same time, the first 15 min of each class will be destined to a little Spanish-related session, where activities such as reading comprehensions, talks, role plays or grammar exercises will be performed. This way, listening, speaking and writing skills will be developed and improved! The topics will depend on the interests and likes of the student and school support can also be assured by helping with homework as well as providing useful material in case self-study is needed. The rest of the class will be based on different activities, once again, depending on the likings and ambitions of the student. Throughout the course, you will be able to try different features like painting, drawing, creative writing, theater, singing, acting, photographing, video editing or music playing. Each week will be based on a project that we will be working on together. The only rule is that the final result will have to be in Spanish! These classes are very flexible and can vary from a very basic level to a quite advanced one, regarding the language. The artistic skills however, due to limitation of the materials available, can only range between beginner and intermediate. For the most little ones, babysitting is available. Hello everyone. My name is Maria and I love playing and teaching cello. The nice, emotional, and depth sound of the cello attracted my interest from the age of four and I decided from this young age to start learning how to play this beautiful instrument. As the years were passing by I was getting more and more impressed from the glory of music and of the cello. So my love and my passion became a profession. I am from Greece and I lived in the Netherlands for the last five years. I finished my Bachelor studies in cello performance at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague and I obtained a certificate in Music Education. Now I am continuing my master studies at Conservatorium Maastricht and I work in parallel as a freelance cellist and cello teacher. Teaching is my passion. In the last 5 years, I teach regularly. Beginners, elder amateur cellist, advanced teenagers, and kids of all ages are some of my students. I have plenty of patience, and I am able to adapt my system to the needs and capacities of each student. As a teacher, I focuse on developing the cello technique and the musicality of my students. Basic music theory, rhythm, and ear training are part of her lessons too. The focus of my teaching is to make my student love the process of learning music and cello.
