My method comes from my own professional experience working in London theatres. I believe heavily in preparation. Doing the work! Then letting go and being free on stage opening yourself to act spontaneously.

I direct and teach with the National Youth Theatre of GB and other theatre companies across London.

In my three years of coaching my students have gained places at RADA, LAMDA, Drama Studio London, East 15 and NYT. I can help with the interview stage and with selecting material.

Once we have that we will slowly dissect the piece and the world of the play to truly understand the character's wants/needs/obstacles/actions.

Also, I will....
- Give you confidence in your speech and in yourself for your upcoming auditions.

- Help you find your most natural performance.

- Explore and find exciting and different ways to perform the text. Settling on what works best for you.

- Also having FUN, because that's what acting is about right?!

P.s I work with actors who have dyslexia. I too am dyslexic. I can adjust my teaching to what suits you and how you learn. Just let me know! As well as any other learning difficulty's :)

I have acted with companies such as the BBC, Sky, FOX US, Paramount + and theatres in London such as The Royal Court, Young Vic and Donmar Warehouse.

National Youth Theatre of GB. Most of my experience comes from working in the acting industry for 12 years. Other companies I have taught with are Lewisham Council, Teatro Vivo and Gifted Youth Theatre.

I have been teaching languages to all ages for the past 30 years. I took early retirement in July 2022 and have since been tutoring privately, with a very high success rate..
I have taught in the same secondary school for the past 21 years and my classes have performed well in French and German at GCSE and A level.
I have also done a lot of teaching English as a foreign language, to guests in our house.

I am a second year Physics Undergraduate reading at Oxford University and am able to tutor maths and physics at varying levels. I have lots of experience tutoring and am passionate about helping students to really understand the topics of maths and physics.

This class is aimed at secondary school students, particularly those who have important GCSE or A Level exams coming up next year and feel they have missed out on critical lessons due to COVID 19

Whatever your background or profession, deciding to learn a foreign language is a great way to add another dimension to your life and make your mind work in a new way. You become a (slightly) different person, since along with a new language, one learns to look at the world in a slightly different way. This is why my approach to teaching English is not only aimed at laying or strengthening the foundational knowledge - grammar, speaking, writing and listening skills, but also at introducing students to the culture of the English-speaking population. We will find out what English speakers find funny, what drives them to tears, what makes them feel proud and what they get embarrassed about.

Open to students of all levels, my course usually is taught online, using a variety of visual aids and a wide range of material, from textbooks to YouTube videos. In teaching advanced learners, I often refer to pieces of literature such as novels and poems, since they easily spark discussions, which in turn improves the students' grasp and feel of the language. In doing so, I take students beyond ordinary textbooks and grammar books, since they are no more than guides to learning, not absolute authorities, and because to me language is a living, constantly evolving matter, which you must submerge yourself into in order to understand.

In addition to my unorthodox approach, what sets me apart is a collection of unique, language-related experiences, which translate into a good ability to understand nuances of the English language. A native Russian speaker, I have lived in the UK for over 5 years, went to a Scottish boarding school and have even completed a university degree in English. I also have experience in storytelling, working with and teaching children of all ages, as well as writing and producing theatre.

Starting drama classes as a teenager was one of the most important things I ever did. It help me build confidence, develop empathy and ground me as the person I am today.

I love performing and creating experiences for my audience - watching their faces as they're surprised, entertained or disgusted by the stories I tell.

But just as important as that is the opportunity to share some of the tools I learned from drama school with other people - tools that can be used every day in communication, emotional regulation and play.

I give tutoring and lessons in math and German, from beginners to native speakers. I passed my high school diploma with a grade of 1.0 in Hesse and my law degree with top marks. I have been giving tutoring for over five years, especially in German and math.

I provide booster classes in Arithmetic and reasoning for KS1 and KS2 to revise for SATs in Year 6 but also the years prior to this.

Additionally, I provide Reading booster classes for KS1 and KS2 with a focus on comprehension skills including inference and predictions.

Classes are in groups according to year group and are charged suggested per child.
