Foundations of Engineering and Calculus: From Math to Mechanics

This class is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both mathematics and core engineering subjects. We will cover Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, and Differential Calculus, alongside essential engineering topics such as Statics of Rigid Bodies, Physics, and Thermodynamics. Students will also be introduced to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and fundamental programming skills relevant to engineering. Classes will be interactive and engaging. I will share my screen to present concepts clearly, use a tablet to solve problems live, and provide custom modules and reading materials. Participation is highly encouraged, and I create a welcoming environment where students feel confident to ask questions and share their thoughts. Progress will be assessed through seatworks, quizzes, and tests, all designed to support learning in a fun, collaborative way.

I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Ateneo de Davao University in 2025, with a GPA of 3.5/4.0. During my studies, I was actively involved in various engineering projects and research initiatives. I led the university’s rocketry team in national and international competitions, designed CubeSat systems for my undergraduate thesis, and gained hands-on experience in propulsion development, simulation tools like SolidWorks and ANSYS, and programming. My academic journey combined rigorous coursework with real-world applications, preparing me to solve complex engineering problems with both technical skill and creativity.
