I am a professional actor-musician, who is offering classes in acting, singing technique, and acting through song. I am a graduate of Manchester School of Theatre and have worked professional around the UK in plays, on screen, and in musical theatre. Whether you're looking to audition for drama school, a professional working actor wanting to brush up on their singing, or an amateur looking to do something creative for fun, I'm ready to tailor the classes to what you need. I teach very technically, but always bring the work back to the character, the story, and most importantly your enjoyment of it. Can offer classes in person (London) or online.

I am an experienced private tutor who has also worked in schools with children 1:1 and in big groups. I have also taught adults as well, alongside the ABRSM syllabus if they choose. I am based in London and can commute to people's houses or can do remote lessons. I am classically trained and have completed my Undergraduate at the Royal College of Music and my MA at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have performed as a singer for lots of large scale events and big opera companies/choirs across the world.

Of course, it brings a lot of joy but it can also help with building confidence, help you relax and it’s also known to be beneficial to your health! In my classes, I want to work on these things and help you become the singer you want to be. My music lessons do not necessarily have the aim to make you “better” but to guide you on your individual music journey. That is why we establish in the first classes what your style and your aspirations are and based on those I tailor a program to meet your needs. My name is Jonas, I am a professional musician and singer and started my personal music journey over ten years ago. Initially trained from a young age in classical singing, I later moved on to do jazz and contemporary styles and then decided to move to London to study Music Performance and Production at LCCM. Over the years I came to an important realization. Although music and singing technique is extremely important, the purpose of music is to convey emotion. I feel this is an aspect that is quickly overlooked but makes the difference in being able to make an audience remember you or not. These aspects of the authenticity of voice and performance I focus on in my classes. It doesn’t matter which age or which singing level you currently are - everyone is welcome in my classes. I truly believe that anyone can sing and that everyone should experience the joy of singing.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
