I am fluent in Korean (TOPIK 6) and have a deep passion for the language. I began studying Korean on my own before continuing my studies at the Korean Cultural Center in Brussels and Leiden University (the Netherlands), where I pursued Korean Studies. I then completed a Master's in Korean Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Additionally, I have attended language programs at Ewha Womans University and Sogang University (all located in Seoul, South Korea), which exposed me to various teaching styles.

Having lived in Seoul for a long time, I am not only familiar with the language but also with the culture, people, and the experience of living in Korea as a foreigner.

I have also worked as a translator in Korean-Dutch and Korean-English. Driven by my passion for the language, I am dedicated to helping others learn Korean. My lessons are customized to suit each individual's needs, ensuring a personalized learning experience.

My name is Karina, and I am half-German and half-Belgian, originally from Halle, near Brussels. After graduating from high school in Belgium, I moved to the Netherlands to study Korean Studies at Leiden University. After completing my bachelor's degree, I received a scholarship to pursue a master's in Korean Translation as a Foreign Language at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. I am currently living in Korea and working as a freelance translator.

I offer a series of lessons that I adapt according to the learner and the language he wishes to learn. Each language is different, so learning methods can vary.
When you book a lesson, you must reserve a minimum of 1h30 and a maximum of 2 hours per lesson, except for the first lesson where you can reserve 1 hour.
