I support people in learning or improving Italian, in a friendly smoothly way. In my work experience I taught Italian to immigrants, refugees, students, professionals as well as poeple who are fond of Italian language and culture. I worked also as tennis coach, that made me the inspiration and the opportunity to look for and develop creative and customized solutions to get people involved in learning while enjoying their challenging activities. After all, learning is a creative process as well as teaching: in order to be effective it must be an all round cognitive experience!
I'm a certified professional in communication and human resources, eager to share my passion for the "life long learning" perspective.

I teach Italian language to adult students of any level: beginners, advanced and academic.
I'm focused on teaching practical grammar in order to make the students getting familiar with the mechanisms of the language as well as its use in daily life and different contexts. Starting from the specific goals, learning features and time availability of the student, I develop a customized plan based on interactive lessons in which they are challenged with the production as well as the comprehension of texts and speeches.
No books are required: I'm used to prepare the material for the lesson on my own or using different resources selected according to their effectiveness and completeness.

A few moments of jokes and chats are welcome during the lesson!

Il mio metodo è centrato sulla grammatica pratica, per consentire allo studente di familiarizzare con i meccanismi della lingua e con il suo uso nella vita quotidiana in differenti contesti.
In base agli specifici obiettivi, stili di apprendimento e disponibilità di tempo dello studente, sviluppo un programma personalizzato basato su lezioni molto interattive che lo stimolino il più possibile a parlare, oltre che a comprendere testi e contesti discorsivi.
Non sono richiesti libri: preparo il materiale per le lezioni io stessa, oppure utilizzo risorse diverse, selezionandole in base alla loro efficacia e completezza.

Main work experience in a no profit organization dealing with assistance of immigrants, refugees and people in need.
During over 14 years spent in the same organization I worked in different positions: Italian language tutor, Project Manager and then HR Accountant.
In all these positions I've always managed with Communication and training activities.

Several working experiences as web content editor and radio speaker.

A short - but intense - work experience as tennis coach for beginner and intermediate players that gave me valuable cues about the learning experience as an all round envolving experience.

I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.

I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, and panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a language degree, I am certified in international law, and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language but also how to learn new languages!

Do you need to learn how to speak in Italian really quickly? Do you already speak at a basic level and you want to improve? This course is for you!
Every lesson, a new thematic: you will learn how to deal in the most common situation with immersive focus on everyday life & job situation. Relax and just speak!

-As a qualified and experienced teacher, I ensure you make real progress, helping you successfully achieve your goals and communicate with confidence in Italian. I prefer not to use vehicular languages but don't worry, I have plurilingual and pluricultural competences so, if you need, we can speak English, French, Arabic (MSA and Tunisian) or Spanish! Together, we'll work on interaction, dialogue, oral production and comprehension, focusing on fluency, lexis and vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. I'll give you access to a range of free resources and authentical materials like videos, audios, newspapers, and books, for sure.

- My method: I follow a communicative and non-frontal approach in which the student always has a leading role and is stimulated to experiment with the structures and the vocabulary learned. In general, during a lesson, I give equal space to the reinforcement of each competence (comprehension and oral production, comprehension and written production, grammatical insights), but at the request of the student, it is possible to focus on particular objectives. I offer students a wide range of Italian language books for foreigners and the choice of texts or materials to follow will be done together. Multimedia materials such as audio and video and interactive activities.
