In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Between the two lessons you can always ask me a question about the subject what we’ve discussed. If you have a subject what you’d like to learn about the Dutch language, let me know. I’m looking forward to see you in my class.

About Me

Hello my name is Carola and I come from the Netherlands but I've been living abroad for a while. I've been working for a long time in the tourism and I give Dutch lessons face to face. I’m a good listener, I’m patient and I like to help you with the Dutch language. I like to see how the students get better and better during every lesson. That makes me happy!

Education

I studied until the age of twenty-three in the Netherlands at the Retail school and I got a certificate of Sepr 1 for the tourism. Then I went abroad to get to work.

I am an enthusiastic teacher with a university degree and 25 years of experience in the Netherlands. I offer Dutch and Turkish lessons for beginners and advanced students. I was born and raised in Turkey. I have gained extensive experience at various language schools and companies as:

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
