About Me

Hello, my name is Ewang and I'm from Cameroon. In my leisure time, I am a certified English and French tutor. I have taught these amazing subjects for over 4 years on different ESL sites, where I have tutored students from over 91 different countries. I equally enjoy surfing, watching football, playing tennis, video games, and reading. I'm really into heavy metal music and playing guitar.

I obtained my Bachelor`s degree on July 2021 in Curriculum studies and teaching in French and English and in 2018 I earned my CELTA. I have experience teaching overseas in Canada, France and in the United States. Over the years, I have taught large classes, small classes, and private lessons online and in person. This includes General English, Conversational French and English, IELTS, that`s just to name a few.

I like to have classes that are conversation-based so students have the opportunity to practice the language verbally; speaking leads to confidence.

Language comes in 4 areas: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. I encourage students to get equal practice in all areas both in and outside of class.

I graduated from the University of Buea-Cameroon where I Studied Curriculum studies and teaching in French and at the end of the 3 years course program, graduated with a Bachelor`s degree with a GPA of 3.74/4. I`m currently enrolled in a Masters program here inn Canada at Memorial University of Newfoundland- Canada

Experience / Qualifications

I have over 4 years of Teaching Experience on other ESL sites. I have improved students` skills in Conversational English and French, equally preparing most of them for their TOEFL, TEFL, TESOL Exams for English learners and DELF Exams For French learners. Equally I`m a holder of a Bachelor`s degree in Curriculum Studies and Teaching of French & English. And presently undergoing a Master`s program in this very field (Teaching). I would describe my teaching style as highly adaptable. I do not really prefer one teaching method, or one way of interacting with the students in the classroom environment.
