Financial accounting is a course many students struggle at first.
Yet, knowing the basics and understanding accounting is extremely relevant for anyone pursuing a career in a business-related degree; or looking to start their own business.
I have a bachelor's and a master's in accounting. I have 4 years of working experience, as a financial accountant and lately as a financial controller at a European tech SME firm. At my job, I deal with many interesting accounting aspects such as: Transfer pricing, VAT, audit, compliance, revenue recognition, reporting, and reconciliations.
I enjoy helping others understand core financial concepts like the accounting equation, debits and credits, accrual accounting, and preparation of financial statements, among many others.

I am 26 years old, originally from Venezuela and Italy, but I've been living in Amsterdam for 8 years. In my free time I enjoy going on hikes, camping and climbing mountains. I can't do that very often unfortunately, so some other hobbies that I have are cooking (and eating pasta), going to the gym, going out with my friends and playing video games (sometimes chess too).

I enjoyed accounting in university so majored in that. Most of my friends found the course challenging, so I started tutoring them. I still enjoy helping others succeed and pass their exams.

➤ Being a good manager is also being a good communicator. Good managerial communication will thus aim to exchange / dialogue effectively with its employees, maintain a close link between the different layers of the company, bring human relations back to the heart of the company, establish a climate of trust and good team cohesion, motivate by inspiring.
