About Me
Eager to pass on my knowledge to the students, it is with great interest that my attention has turned to the teaching profession, and it is therefore natural that I chose to teach mathematics.
Holds a degree in Science, Technology, Health mention Mathematics from the University Franche-Comté Besançon, and a Master 2 in Mathematics & Applications specialty Mathematics for Insurance, Finance and Health, since January 2016 I I enrolled in a thesis in Applied Mathematics on the theme of retrograde stochastic equations and their applications.
Different experiences in the field of teaching have allowed me to develop my sense of communication and pedagogy. First, from 2003 to 2008, I held the position of assistant in mathematics at the EPFL Special Mathematics Course, where I was in charge of the courses of Analysis I and II and Linear Algebra . After, I held the position of trainer at the Center Neuchâtelois of Professional Integration from May 2010 until December 2011. Then, I made substitutions in mathematics in colleges and high schools. Afterwards, I was teacher-repeater in private institutes and schools such as the Polycours Institute, the Gamma Institute, École-Plus. Finally, since September 2016, I teach mathematics at Lycée Louis Pasteur in Tunis.
My synthesis spirit, my flexibility, my ability to work in a team, my rigor and my autonomy allowed me to become the major of my promotion during my master. In addition I have an easy and appreciable sociability, a good relationship and a very good sense of communication thanks to my previous experiences in the areas of education and hospitality.
I am perfectly aware that this job is very demanding. Indeed, it is not easy to control young students and to explain to them sometimes difficult and abstract phenomena but I think that I have the good profile to succeed my mission. At the same time flexible and authoritarian, attentive, patient and rigorous, I feel that I have good reflexes and a good resistance to exert such a function.
Thus, I think I gather the first qualities necessary to teach mathematics. In addition, this job is a training opportunity and has significant career opportunities for me who aspire to hold such a position in a polytechnic or university.
Hoping to have aroused your interest, I am at your disposal for a possible interview and for any other additional information.
