Russian Language Classes (online/offline) for adults, students, kids - easier than you think!

Russian may seem difficult at the first sight, but I will do my best to prove it is not so hard as it seems!

The class is suitable for all people (kids, students, adults) who would like to study Russian for various reasons. I always create a personal program for every student in order to satisfy different levels of Russian and adapt towards specific needs.

The focus is, of course, put on studying vocabulary, grammar and most importantly speaking. The student can already say some basics starting from the first class. As soon as some basics are learned, communication will be practiced in a creative ad customized way. I will show various videos, texts and exercises to do together and provide written homework for further practice.

The lesson is structured as following (depending on personal needs, goals and knowledge):
- Homework overview and check up
- New material shown and explained
- Examples given for grammar, texts, vocabulary
- Discussion of the topic and Q&A session
- Extra additional information shared
- Conversational practice
- New homework given

Hi! My nationality is Russian. I finished high school in Finland, graduated as a Bachelor in Business Management in Belgium, had exchange studies in Italy and remote work from Montenegro. Currently I am based in Vienna and work in business development.

I have wide international background (lived in 8 countries). I love learning and teaching languages, as well as travelling, meeting new people, sharing experiences and cultures.

As for my personality, I am an easy-going, friendly person, inspiring and motivating others. I've been teaching languages for 5 years now, feel free to contact me if you need help.

Russian language is my native and I've been learning it since my childhood. As for English language, I've been living abroad for 8 years now, always communicating in English and developed it up to a fluent level. I continue learning Italian language now for two years and currently have B2 (I teach only basic Italian).

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I've been teaching Russian to several Finnish students few years several times a week as well as three Belgian people on a weekly and monthly basis. As for English, I gave classes to Russian people mostly and one international friend of mine. I only taught one person Italian language this summer.

It was an awesome experience for me and for them with a fast language progress, therefore I would like to continue doing it. I really enjoyed the process of teaching languages, so I would really like to help others to learn them here on Apprentus.

I take preparation for the class very seriously, do research to facilitate easier information processing and make lessons more entertaining/interesting for the kids/adults, adapt content and the way of teaching towards different personalities of students and their knowledge levels of the language, generate topics to keep discussion with the students ongoing and search/improve student's weak areas in the language.

Skilled at teaching, communication, time-management, planning, creativity and organization. I easily connect with different students and communicate effectively.

For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. I will cover main functional areas of English grammar and vocabulary within different areas and will make sure that you start speaking since the first class already, since Practice Makes Perfect and English is not so difficult as it may seem at first!

This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul.

I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work.

You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

Become a Poliglot. Research shows that learning languages causes anatomical changes in the brain. It causes new connections between neurons, which can contribute to the enlargement of certain parts of the brain...
And so less scientifically? The use of several languages is pure joy, satisfaction and a wide path to any success in life.
I am Polish. I always have heard that it's good to speak languages of your neighbours. So I have learnt German and Russian. English was an obvious choice for a professional life. Presently I am learning Hebrew just for fun, because I like the idea of knowing three different alphabets.
I invite you to join me on this fascinating journey.
We can do together homeworks from your school, learn vocabulary, repeat grammar, read, listen, sing, talk and discover the motherland of the chosen language.
I am not a professional teacher, but I have a passion for learning and I would like to share this passion. For two years I have been working in schools as a teaching assistant or general cover. Pupils enjoy cooperation with me, have fun and feel comfortable in process.

In this class, we'll start learning German from the level you are currently at and get you speaking German confidently whilst getting to know the culture. We won't go through dull slideshows on grammar rules, but pick it up effortlessly, by exploring different German-language media.
