[ENGLISH BELOW] Ik ben een Tsjechische violiste, gevestigd in Den Haag. Ik heb een Master of Music graad behaald in klassieke en moderne viool aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam met een cijfer van 10/10. Sindsdien werk ik als concertvioliste, kamermusicus (spelend in kleine groepen en ensembles) en als freelancer in orkesten door heel Nederland. Ik ben aanvoerder van het Doelen Ensemble in Rotterdam en een veelgevraagde samenwerkingspartner voor opnamestudio's, dansers, componisten van nieuwe en filmmuziek en theatermakers. Als docent heb ik ervaring in privéonderwijs, speciale conservatoriumvoorbereiding en competitie-training, maar ook als gastdocent aan het Conservatorium van Brno (Tsjechië). Ik speel zowel klassieke akoestische viool als elektrische viool.

In mijn lessen bied ik zowel traditionele klassieke muziekopleiding (techniek en klassieke muziekstukken) gebaseerd op mijn 20 jaar werk en studie met toonaangevende docenten en vioolvirtuozen (de beste van de Tsjechische, Amerikaanse en Russische school van techniek), alsook lessen voor degenen die alleen genoeg willen leren om hun favoriete nummers van hun favoriete zanger te spelen en ermee te improviseren. We zullen de viool gebruiken in alle muziekgenres en onze leerplannen baseren op jouw wensen, dromen en ambities, waarbij we altijd samen jouw leertraject op maat ontwerpen en indien nodig aanpassen. Ik werk graag met alle leeftijden, leerproblemen of diverse fysieke mogelijkheden; muziek staat open voor iedereen en moet vooral een leuke manier zijn om verbinding te maken met anderen en de wereld.

I am a Czech violinist based in Den Haag. I have graduated with a Master of Music degree in classical and modern violin at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the grade of 10/10, and have since worked as a concert violinist, as well as chamber musician (playing in small groups and ensembles) and as a freelancer in orchestras around the Netherlands. I am a leader of the Doelen Ensemble in Rotterdam and a frequent collaborator for recording studios, dancers, composers of new and film music and theatre makers. As a teacher, I have experience in private teaching, special conservatory preparation and competition training, but also as a guest teacher at the Brno Conservatory (Czech Republic). I play both classical acoustic violin and electric violin.

In my lessons I offer both traditional classical music training (teaching technique and pieces of classical music) based on my 20 years of work and studies with leading teachers and violin virtuosos (the best of Czech, American and Russian school of technique), but also lessons tailored for those who wish to learn just enough to play their favorite songs from their favorite singer, and improvise along with it.
We will use the violin in all genres of music and base our learning plans on your wishes, dreams and ambitions, always custom-designing your learning trajectory together and adjusting as needed along the way. I am happy to work with any ages, learning differences or diverse physical abilities, music is open to all, and most of all, should be a fun way to connect with others and the world.

Über mich

I am a Czech violinist based in Den Haag. I have a few years ago graduated with a Master of Music degree in classical and modern violin at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the grade of 10/10, and have since worked as a concert violinist, as well as chamber musician (playing in small groups and ensembles all over Europe) and as a freelancer in orchestras around the Netherlands. I am a leader of the Doelen Ensemble in Rotterdam, member of international Ensemble Resilience, occasional concert soloist, and a frequent collaborator for recording studios, dancers, composers of new and film music and theatre makers.

Other than violin, I am interested in film, literature, food, culture, politics and psychology. I believe in the importance of well being and health, and "work smart, not hard" approaches to learning and practicing anything.

As a teacher, I have experience in private teaching, special conservatory preparation and competition training, but also as a guest teacher at the Brno Conservatory (Czech Republic). I play both classical acoustic violin and electric violin.

As a performer, I have appeared in venues such as Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw aan't IJ, Tivoli Vredenburg Utrecht, De Doelen, Rudolfinum Prague,... and festivals such as: Grachtenfestival, Colours of Ostrava, Gaudeamus Festival,...

Received several competition prizes and recognitions, scholarships and certificates from international courses and masterclasses.
