I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 8 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher. Hello! My name is Pablo and I am a professional cellist. In my 20+ years playing the cello I have been lucky to build an international career as a solo and orchestral musician in places like Bremen (Germany), Sweden (Göteborg), Spain (Malaga), and Belgium (Gent). I have 4+ years worth of experience teaching online/in person, in multiple countries, as well as a C1 Cambridge certificate of English. I also have a B1 level of Nederlands. I have music articles published as well. My philosophy of teaching is to teach my students in a comprehensive way how to use their body 100% efficiently. I will teach them how to play in the most natural way, getting rid of tensions and fears in the process. After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent.
