I am a student in Haute ecole de musique Geneve.
My goal at teaching is introducing music knowledge in practical and fun way. I always make sure to respect student's wishes for the program. I always adapt to everone's different level.

I received my diploma in Neuchâtel where I got the highest grade for my bachelor’s degree. I also completed my master’s degree in interpretation at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva and I continue with a master’s degree in pedagogy.

Über mich

I am Meta, I come from Slovenia and and I am studying piano in Switzerland. I have been playing piano for 19 years. I started teaching piano few years ago, because I find it useful and fun.
I always make sure to adopt on my student's level, but I encourage to make progress fast.

I am holding a Bachelor and Masters degree from Haute ecole de musique de Genève and i am currently finishing my Masters of pedagogy and accompanying in the same school.

Already in High school I was accompanying many choirs or soloist. I was a leader of a male choir. I was a part of many musical projects with an youth orchestra. I continue being a part of chamber music groups and a duo groups with singers.

Master's student at HEM Geneva, gives piano lessons

I started giving piano lessons over 5 years ago. So far I have had many students of different levels and ages. I always say it's never too late to learn a new instrument. I work with my students in a fun and affectionate way. My goal is to help them progress quickly and keep them motivated. I always make sure to respect the students' wishes for the program and I always adapt to each person's different levels.

I received my diploma in Neuchâtel where I obtained the best grade for my bachelor's degree. I also completed my master's degree in performance at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and I am continuing with a master's degree in pedagogy.

I'm twenty four years old. I finished my maturity in the summer of 2015 in the Kantonsschule Wiedikon in Zurich in the musical field. With 8 years I started my first piano lessons, which were mainly focused on classical pieces and theory. As soon as I chose my musical orientation in college, I received an intern teacher, who helped me to develop my improvisational skills and introduced me to genres like Jazz, Blues & Boogie Woogie.

My teaching experience I developed mainly during my civil service, where I introduced asylum seekers via projects to the diversity of music. With my well-tempered attitude and patience i find it easy to transfer the knowledge I have and am very adaptive to different kinds of learning behaviors.

I am 22 years old, I am studying Piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, in the class of pianist and pedagogue Sylviane Deferne, I give PIANO lessons at home in Geneva.

I have 14 years of instrumental practice. Certificate of End of Piano Music Studies obtained, with highest honors, at the Regional Conservatory of Boulogne-Billancourt (and CFEM obtained also in Solfege, honors).

I also studied for 3 years at the Russian Conservatory in Paris, Serge Rachmaninov, and graduated in June 2016, after having obtained the "TB +" mention on the "Superior 3" exam.

This allowed me, after a teaching received from teachers from the French school to tap into the tradition of the Russian piano school.

Awards received at numerous music competitions (Claude Kahn: "Superior" level; 1st Prize at the Resonances International competition: in the "Excellence" level in 2014, and 1st Prize in the "Concert Diploma" level in 2015, 1st medal at the unanimity of the jury at the international competition of Brest).

I had the chance to follow master classes of masters such as Konstantin Lifschitz, Jacques Rouvier, Chantal Riou, Denis Pascal or Romano Pallottini (with whom I had the chance to work a lot in private lessons)

PROGRAM

I will adapt to the needs of each student, it is a real duty to transmit the maximum to students who wish.
I consider pedagogy as a great source of inspiration and personal enrichment.

I will combine requirement and flexibility, the goal not to dissuade the student to practice the instrument, but on the contrary to find the nature of the problem encountered, and then solutions adapted to the morphology and abilities of the student .

I use a playful and pictorial approach.
