Violin lessons for all ages with a professional violinteacher

Violin lessons for all ages with a professional violinteacher

Are you looking for an experienced violin teacher for yourself or your child? I am a professional violinist and violinteacher with extensive teaching experience. I give violin lessons from beginners to advanced level for all ages online or in person. For more than twenty years, I have been successfully teaching children, young people and adults alike to achieve their goals on the violin. I help them along the basics, mastering a certain piece of their choice, a music style or playing chamber music, preparing for an exam or audition. I work with children in a fun, playful way, considering their own tempo of progress, their ability to concentrate, and their individual interests. Starting from the basics, through secure violin and bow holding, we progress through easy but enjoyable small pieces to more complex pieces of music. From the beginning, I put a lot of emphasis on developing a beautiful violin sound. Integrated into the lessons, we learn reading the music notes and music theory, musical understanding, and expression. I welcome adults as well, whether active, improve your level or beginners! With them, we can discover other musical styles besides the classical style, such as country, klezmer or Irish music. Chambermusic ensembles (trio, quartet) are also welcome, with them we will develop rehearsal techniques and intonation.

Math, Science & French Tutoring in Budapest by Engineering Student (In-person & Online)

Math, Science & French Tutoring in Budapest by Engineering Student (In-person & Online)

Dear all, Currently a second-year engineering student at ESME Sudria (Paris), I am moving to Budapest from September to February (2026–2027) for an academic exchange semester. During my stay, I am offering private tutoring and tailored academic support for your children. Having earned a French scientific Baccalaureate with honors (mention bien) and completed two years of intensive engineering preparatory classes, I have a thorough command of middle and high school curricula. In addition to a two-year academic mentoring experience with three siblings, I tutored four individual students this past year (from Grade 6 to Grade 11 / 6ème to 1ère), helping them make meaningful academic progress. I would be more than happy to put you in touch with their parents if you would like references. Beyond STEM subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), my background also allows me to tutor in the humanities (having studied Latin and Ancient Greek) as well as languages (English and Spanish). Furthermore, my ongoing experience as a Scout leader has taught me patience, responsibility, and the pedagogical approach needed to adapt to each student’s unique learning style. I provide dedicated, patient, and personalized guidance tailored to your child’s goals. I am available in Budapest on weekday evenings as well as weekends (sessions can take place at your home depending on your location, or online). Feel free to reach out so we can discuss your child’s academic needs! Looking forward to meeting you, Henri

“ Lika is an amazing teacher! She is not only highly skilled but also has a very fun, open, and kind personality that makes the lesson truly enjoyable. My partner and I were particularly impressed by how well she teaches both female and male choreography—her instructions for the male moves were incredibly clear and professional. Her teaching style is easy to follow and very encouraging. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to continuing our lessons with her. Highly recommended! ”

“ As a beginner, I enjoy my classes a lot with Geza. He gives you the feeling that if you keep learning from him you will improve very well. That’s partly because he is very knowledgeable, experienced and partly because have so much patience with hist students. You can communicate with him very well and he has his own system tailored by what you want in music and how much you improve. I think if that’s what you are looking for in an instructor, Geza is the right man. ”
