Hello there, I'm Tom from Perth, Australia. I am currently living in Buenos Aires, enjoying the Latin life. I have 12 months of experience from my time in Spain and Japan. I did most of my teaching in Spain and gained my TEFL. I taught at language schools, colegios and also did private lessons. I taught at a summer camp in Manchester, teaching teenagers from Spain. While in Japan, I briefly taught at a high school as the students prepared for a student exchange to Portland in the USA. I also taught private lessons to children as well.

I can teach you General and Business English, as well as just having conversational lessons. I will be willing to teach all kinds of students of all ages. I will also be available for online classes if needed.

Education

- Completed high school in 2017
- Completed TAFE Nursing education in Australia in 2021
- Completed TEFL education (comprised of 120 hours of curriculum) in Madrid in 2021

- 9 months experience in a colegio in Madrid teaching between the ages of 4-18
- 1 month experience teaching Spanish teenagers at a summer camp in Manchester
- 2 months in Tokyo teaching private lessons to children

I am an experienced tutor from Oxford, England who is happy to teach English to speak, to write (for academia or business), or for exams like IELTS and the Cambridge Assessment. As you'll know English is an extremely valuable language to have to work or simply for travel in today's world.
I have taught English from a very basic level (to non-English speaking refugees in Turkey) to a very academic level and have completed a degree (in Philosophy, Politics and Economics) at the University of Oxford.
I also teach Italian and am fluent in the language as my mother is from Lazio and so I learnt it from a young age.
