Lesson for the development of your Creativity and fine arts Technics.

Practical lessons designed for the training and knowledge of the necessary Technics in drawing and painting, no matter the age or experience. For children under 7 years old, the class is primarily a painting and drawing experience.

The technical objectives of the class will depend on the interests of each student. The main tools will be pencil and charcoal, watercolor, tempera or acrylic and Oil on canvas. Each student must provide their own materials.

What we work in class: landscapes, objects, portraits, and abstractions.

What we develop in each of these genres: creativity, knowledge of harmony, composition, balance, atmosphere and technical skills.

Classes could take place in outdoor areas for proper study of color and light and, due to Coronavirus, ONLINE.

The lessons will be mostly outdoors/Online. But they can also be developed in the location of the student and / or own.

At the moment in which I am writing this, I am 41 years old. More than half of these years have been dedicated to art: for the last twenty-five years I have committed myself to making, teaching and studying art. In the first place, I have devoted myself to oil painting. However, I have never ceased to work also in other media such as video, performance and sculpture. In addition, I have worked in architectural and curatorial projects. I would like to underline my ten years of teaching at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro— the academy where I received also my education— and the educational and curatorial projects which I organized in collaboration with other artists at the artist run space “Yo Soy El Que Soy”.

Education

- Higher Institute of Art (ISA). Havana, Cuba.
- Fine Arts Academy "San Alejandro". Havana, Cuba.
- Training in Anthroposophische Medizin (art therapy) by Michaela Glöckler and collaborates.

Expérience / Qualifications

- Ten years teaching in the Fine Arts Academy "San Alejandro", painting class. Havana, Cuba.
- Different paintings workshop: Autism students, Depth students, children between 5-14 years old and professional art education.
