I specialize in teaching in IELTS and English as a Second Language. I have taught and designed the ESL curriculum for four years, implementing a range of learning techniques. I am offering tutoring for English as a Second Language examinations: IGCSE and/or IELTS.

For IELTS/ESL I will provide exam questions, tips and a range of model answers to work from. I will create vocabulary building activities and grammar tasks. I will focus on speaking and writing, improving your work.

Classes will be tailored to your learning needs and a range of resources and exam tips and model answers will be provided.

Hi! I'm Emily and I'm from the UK. I'm an English teacher in Bangkok, Thailand!
I teach IELTS, English as a first language and second language.

I studied Modern Foreign Languages at Durham University before completing my PGCE at the University of Cambridge. I taught MFL in a Secondary school in Hertfordshire before moving internationally, where I have taught English for the last four years. I love travelling, learning new languages and exploring new cultures. I lived in Penang, Malaysia for 2 years and I am currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. I have travelled to many places in South East Asia and my dream is to live in Japan!

First class dissertation in the field of Italian Renaissance Literature

Expérience / Qualifications

I primarily focus on teaching students with English as a second or additional language. My main areas of expertise are ESL IGCSE and IELTS. I currently plan, examine and teach to these exams at an International school in Thailand.

I have experience teaching languages to a range of age groups: from primary school children to adults. During my Year Abroad, I taught English to primary school students as British Council Language Assistant in Orleans, France. I then worked in a private language school in Florence, Italy, teaching teenagers and adults. During my final year at University, I tutored GCSE French and Italian online.
I completed my PGCE in 2017 and taught languages in the UK before moving to Penang, Malaysia. I have taught iGCSE ESL for 3 years and IELTS for 2 years.
My teaching methodology involves student-centered learning and encouraging students to become evaluative, curious and confident language learners.

Hi !

I’m Alicia, a 23-year-old Swiss student at HEC Lausanne, currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics.

Alongside my studies, I’ve been tutoring for two years in France, teaching English, French, Maths, and providing homework support through Acadomia and Anacours. Over this time, I’ve worked with around 30 students, including 15 in the past four months alone.
