Hi everyone! My name is Anastasia and I provide personalized and engaging methodology! I am currently working as an English teacher for children aged 7-10, and have previously worked as an English teacher for children aged 3-12, as well as a private tutor for all ages. I teach from a bilingual perspective (as a native bilingual myself) and understand the peculiar difficulties of trying to understand a different language. I find ways to engage the student by using subjects that they find personally interesting. I cooperate with the student as a team towards their goals.

I am a graduate of Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was born and raised in the state of North Carolina, in the southeast U.S., and my parents are from Greece. I love to use my bilingual advantage to teach students English more empathetically and effectively. I am currently living in Athens, Greece and recently finished a postgraduate degree at the American College of Greece.

I am a graduate of Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently teaching English at a language school in Athens, and also have recent experience teaching English at a school in Barcelona, Spain. I was born and raised in the state of North Carolina and my parents are from Greece. I love to use my bilingual advantage to teach students English more empathetically and effectively. In my free time, I love traveling, reading, yoga, and enjoying the beach and outdoors.

I graduated in 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Political Science major. I also completed a postgraduate degree in Digital Communications from the American College of Greece in July 2025.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I obtained an Expert in Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate with 24 ECTS from the UIC in Barcelona. I also completed an 8-month program as an English language assistant at a school in Barcelona, Spain.

I am a Greek native licensed language teacher based in Athens, Greece.
I offer private 1-to-1 online lessons in English, German and modern Greek.

I teach modern Greek, English and German to students of all levels and ages.

I focus on making the lesson as communicative as possible.
I suggest a graded textbook (for communicative or business purposes), but also provide the learner with handouts, in order to offer an authentic language experience. I also provide and suggest extra educational material for self-study.

Learning a language is like learning how to ride a bike. The first steps are the hardest and need much guiding. There are a lot of stepping stones and ways to fall. Later on it becomes easier, but on the other hand the language grows and the opportunities of use are widening. I offer German and English classes for beginners and advanced students.
Furthermore I offer classes in Philosophy in both languages to deepen the language and deepen the knowledge and use of the given language. The classes can be structured in likes of the needs and the strengths of the student, as I am experienced in teaching abroad as well as different age groups and levels.

Provision of foreign language courses as a student of German Philology. Provision of courses online or in the areas of Melissia, Marousi and Penteli. I have two years of tutoring experience and have already offered private lessons. My goal is the best possible cooperation.
