Week 1 - Getting to know the guitar Week 2 - Basic Chords + strumming I (open chords) Week 3 - Basic Chords + strumming II (bar chords) Week 4 - Learn Songs of Choice I (chords) Week 5 - Basic Scales I (pentatonic) Week 6 - Learn Songs of Choice II (chords + riff) Week 7 - Basic Scales II (major scale) Week 8 - Learn Song of Choice III (melody) Week 9 - Basic Music Theory Week 10 - Basic Improvisation Techniques -- My name is Devin. I'm a professional music producer and session guitarist for popular artists in China and internationally. I've been playing guitar for 15 years through both self-applied learning techniques and conservatory training. Learning an instrument is a wonderful gateway to get introduced to the world of music. My goal for teaching guitar is to help children and adults who are interested in music develop a thorough understanding of music so that you can feel inspired and motivated to keep exploring.
