Studio Policy This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly. Lessons/Payment: Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom. Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home. Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package. If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation. Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson. Tardiness: The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed. If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule. Rescheduling/Cancellations: Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits. The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype. If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month. Copyright/class recordings: Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement. The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken. The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement. Parental Involvement for younger students: I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture. Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

Thousands of years ago, a thought arose in the mind of one of the most selfless humans I can imagine: “God lives everywhere — even in a simple stone.” At first glance, it may seem strange, even naïve, to build an entire culture around such a belief. But look deeper — it wasn’t just mysticism. It was wisdom. Without such ideas, the selfish instincts of humans might have destroyed much of nature long ago. Take the great Banyan tree in my own backyard. If not for the belief that “God lives in all things,” that tree might have been cut down generations ago. And with it, countless childhood memories — mine, and thousands of others like me — would have been lost. This is why, in ancient times, temples were often built near old trees. My name’s Blanca and I live in a small, peaceful village near Lleida. From a very young age, English has been my favorite subject. I first picked it up at school and later, I expanded my understanding through music and literature. Over the past few years, I’ve been studying it at an advanced level. Right now, I’m focusing on reaching a C2 proficiency in English—not only to refine my skills but because I genuinely enjoy exploring the language. The more I study it, the more captivating it becomes. At 2015, I started helping teens with learning difficulties or rebellious behavior and that’s when I discovered my love for teaching. Zouhour is a great teacher and highly recommended. She works hard to make every lesson fun, yet effective. Both are important for learning a new language, especially one like Tunisian Arabic, which is a bit different than Modern Standard Arabic. While she has a curriculum that she uses, she adapts to a student’s capabilities and learning needs. Very quickly can a student put into practice what she teaches and she presents the building blocks for later, more complicated conversations. I personally was very rapidly able to put simple greetings, words and phrases into use, to great avail and lots of smiles from Tunisians. Again, she is highly recommended as a teacher for Tunisian Arabic.

Miss Sara is a very good teacher. She has a way to keep my 6 year old daughter engaged and encouraged while increasing her abilities in French. I have seen my daughter improve drastically. She challenges her and she started reading many words in the space of 3 months when she could not before in French. The exercises she gives touches a wide range of topics (syllables, vocabulary, sentance building etc) that has allowed my English speakig daughter to cope well in her French school environment. She started understanding what people say to her in French which is amazing.

Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)
