Mathematics/Physics all levels - from elementary school to college
I am currently in my 3rd year of a bachelor's degree in mathematics at EPFL and I will be studying at University of Oslo from 1.08.2022 until june 2023 . I give courses for all levels from elementary school to graduate school. I give courses in math and physics for all levels up to the first year of graduate studies. I can give the course at home or by video conference. My teaching method is to make the student understand the course and then to help him/her solve the exercises while asking questions to make sure he/she has understood.

Private lessons/academic support in mathematics and physics -- Tutoring in maths and physics
I offer personalized tutoring courses in mathematics and physics, for all middle and high school students, in French, English or Italian. Last summer I obtained my bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics at the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris, and am now continuing my studies at ETH Zürich. With more than a year of experience in tutoring/academic support in the subjects mentioned with international students, I will be able to identify the needs and gaps of the student to be able to progress effectively and give the students the means to improve their grades. and understanding of their lessons. --------- I am offering tutoring session in Mathematics and Physics for all students in secondary and high school, in French, English or Italian. I graduated a few months ago with a Bachelor in Mathematics and physics from Ecole Polytechnique de Paris (France's number one engineering school), and I am currently studying my master degree at ETH Zürich. I have been giving tutoring session for international high school students for more than a year now, and this experience will allow me to identify the students' needs and gaps in order to efficiently make them progress and improve their grades and understanding.

Maths, Physics, analysis and algebra lessons from primary school to the first years of university.
Master student at ETH Zurich, I offer support throughout the year for students with difficulties in Maths / Physics or simply who want to increase their average or pass their exams. With the help of several long experiences as an assistant professor at EPFL in Analysis, Physics, Thermodynamics and Computer Science, I will be able to adapt, at home or if necessary by videoconference, the exercises you need to make you progress.

Physics for kids and teenagers - English and Italian
Is Harry Potter invisibility cloak possible to produce in real life? How are the waves created? Is it possible to “build” a sun? If you want to learn how to answer these questions (and many more) join this course! This course can be an opportunity for small kids (<= 12 yr. old) to stimulate their curiosity as well as to answer their many whys. For teenagers, this can serve as a complement to the high school classes and offer a fresh perspective on what the future would be. I graduated in Physics at ETH Zurich in 2021 and I did my bachelor in Italy. Previously I was a tutor for high school kids in physics and mathematics.

Mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, sensor technology: basics up to the Matura or apprenticeship completion
Individual tutoring, guidance on homework and exam preparation for pupils, students and apprentices, at home or in other suitable learning locations. As a rule, the student determines the desired learning material, but if necessary, the student can also provide his or her own exercises or homework.

Private mathematics and physics course up to the Bachelor level
Private lessons mathematics and physics. My method is based on active understanding by example. This method has proven effective with both my undergraduate and high school students and provides a solid foundation over the long term.

French student at ETH, tutoring in French mathematics and physics in Zurich
I am a French student in Zurich (at ETH) and offers French, maths and physics classes. I'm used to it and I've been tutoring for several years. I like it a lot - I also want to be a teacher and researcher, be patient, even if I expect a lot from the student. The goal is to better understand the basics and show what is interesting in the subject, so that the student is properly motivated.

Physics Graduate student for Physics, Mathematics, Spanish, Chemistry
I'm a Spanish student currently studying a Quantum Information MSc at ETH Zürich. Physics is my passion and I love to teach it, always in a way that the student can understand the concepts and see the beauty behind them. I have taught an uncountable number of students of all kind of levels, from school children that need help with the course to adult people seeking to pass a physics exam for a pilot license or university students. In my 6 years of experience on teaching, what I have learnt is that usually most students just need a bit of motivation, and the best way to give them that motivation is showing them that physics and mathematics are beautiful and fun! I have a Surface Pro tablet that I normally use for aid during the class. It's very useful to show the students animations, videos and figures in order to transmit a better explanation of the concepts. I can also use it for giving classes through online videocall, sharing my screen and writing in it as it were a blackboard. I'm native Spanish so I can teach Spanish as well. Note: I'm currently learning German, so I'll be able to give classes in English or Spanish only.

Tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics (exact subjects).
I am Christian, graduated in chemistry at Utrecht University (Biomolecular Sciences) and have a PhD in developmental biology. For several years now I have been tutoring and exam training in mathematics, chemistry and physics to HAVO and VWO students, but also to HBO students and Cambridge International A-levels. Maybe I can help you too! The lessons are given online, but I provide a personal and interactive approach. With a marker and whiteboard I create an atmosphere that is comparable to private lessons at your home. Every student has unique goals and a unique way of learning. That is why I tailor my lessons to your needs. I am always involved in your progress and am optimistic and approachable by nature. During the lessons I often notice that students not only understand the material better, but also their self-confidence grows. Besides being a tutor, I am a part-time artist (painter and musician). My creative background gives me a fresh and enthusiastic perspective on science subjects. If science subjects feel hard, difficult or boring, or if you had a teacher who couldn't make it fun, I can help you change that. The more you understand, the more fun it becomes, and good grades will follow! I'd love to meet you!

I believe in simplifying complex topics, breaking them down into easy-to-understand segments. This approach helps students grasp and retain challenging concepts with ease. Techniques such as mnemonic devices, visual aids, and real-life examples are integral to my method, ensuring that formulas and concepts are not just memorized, but truly understood. Regular assessments are conducted to track student progress and identify areas needing improvement. These tests also prepare students for their school exams, ultimately boosting their confidence. I understand the importance of keeping parents informed and involved in their child’s academic journey. That's why I provide weekly reports detailing their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. This continuous feedback loop ensures that parents are aware of their child’s development and can support their learning at home. Encouraging words and positive feedback are integral to my teaching method. I strive to build students' self-confidence and to instill a love for learning through positive reinforcement. Setting achievable goals for each student, I celebrate their successes and motivate them to strive for excellence. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
