Flamenco & Blues guitar teacher in Zürich for all ages

I‘m 24 years old man from Slovenia. I‘ve been playing guitar for almost 10 years now, I compose and dive deep into the and art of it. I‘m very interested in teaching and seeing how a person is developing it’s skills once they dedicate themselves to the subject. My approach is very precise and if one desires so, I‘ll teach from total basics as reading the notes and other music theory or we can also work from tabs.
I lived in Spain, Granada for some time where I‘ve been to the fountain and the roots of flamenco itself and became more familiar with it. I studied art pedagogy when I was in university in Slovenia, where I learned some pedagogy basics, but I think a teacher has to see beyond the frame and find it‘s own way of passing the knowledge. I speak spanish, english, croation and Slovenian fluently and I speak some basic German and Italian, but I started to work more seriously on both of them.

I teach at my home, but offer webcam lessons and also can come to student‘s house but charge additional costs for travel.

Beatriz
Clarinet and Music Theory Lessons for all Levels and Ages
Since I was a walking baby, my mom said I was a musician. As the years passed, this path drew itself almost alone. Was just right before coming abroad alone when I knew this passion was bigger than anything else I have in life. It was also since then, that I realized that more than all the performance musicians that I admired I should admire my teachers that allowed me to grow and discover my full potential. So, I perceived I want do be the creator of someone else's path and growth, both human and musically as I believe it is impossible to disconnect them, being music the ultimate form of expression. I don't have a lot of experience but I'm young, fast at adapting to new environments, and especially willing to grow and to be my best at every moment with every particular person. "Music can change the world because it can change people."

Music - Guitar and musical knowledge: music theory, harmony and style
Guitar lessons: the mandate of guitar teacher is defined by the fact of being methodical, that is to say having an exact knowledge of the specifications: practice of playing with both hands, musical reading, knowledge of music theory , harmony... so many criteria which also participate in an encounter, that between the person who proposes and the one who wishes to emancipate themselves through an instrument specific to individual expression.

Vincent
Classical guitar and music theory lessons by a qualified teacher from the Conservatory
Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses. Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible. I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar. Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality. References on request Follow up by email/phone as needed between lessons. Examples of pieces you will be able to play after a year: works by Bach, Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Carcassi, Aguado, Jeux Interdits, baroque flamenco, romantic works

Fun Guitar Lessons for beginners and explorers alike!
The guitar is a fun and social instrument and I believe everybody can learn how to play it! Using two guitars - one for the student and one for the teacher - we will go through some chords, basic finger exercises, strumming techniques and other little tricks. I am confident you will be playing a couple of your favourite songs in no time! We may use the occasional tabliature, but most of the lesson will be focused on listening, playing and repeating; and it will be fun :-) Please note: I specifically do not teach with notations or scores of any sort. My method of teaching is based on playing by ear, with emphasis on the music and the joy in playing it, rather than the theory. Notation is great and theory is important - I studied these myself; however, I have found that learning an instrument by ear is a far deeper, enjoyable and progressive way to get to know your instrument. I also place importance on technique and memorization, again tailoring these to the needs and wishes of the student. My methods have proven very successful and I'm confident your playing will improve quickly! I teach both children and adults, teenagers and grandparents :-) Maybe you already play, but would like some help improving your improvisational skills? Or perhaps you are a complete beginner and just want to find out, if this instrument is for you? Get in touch! Some background to my instruments: Piano: I initially taught myself the piano and took lessons later on. My main or favourite styles on the piano are: Blues & Boogie Woogie, Traditional Jazz, Rock n' Roll, Pop and Soul. I love many forms of Classical music as well. Guitar: I taught myself guitar as a kid and play both acoustic and electric. My favourite styles on the guitar are, on the one hand, heavy Rock, Metal and Punk, and on the other gentle Jazz, Blues and ballads :-) Drums: this became my main gigging instrument between '10 and '20. I mostly focus on funky grooves, hard Rock or Metal, Pop, Jazz, Swing; some rudiments, lots of grooves :-)
