Hello!

I'm a dedicated 24-year-old from Rome, Italy, who moved to Utrecht two years ago. After recently completing my studies, I began working at bol. However, my passion for the piano continues to be a significant part of my life, which is why I've decided to offer piano lessons.

I graduated from the prestigious Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, specialising in classical piano. Although I didn't pursue a career as a concert pianist, I now play in a cover band, keeping my love for music alive. Additionally, I hold a degree in psychology, enabling me to be attentive to various learning styles and tailor my teaching approach accordingly.

Concert program: The fantasies of Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Bach, and Brahms. Skills acquired: classical piano repertory, musical harmony and analysis, ear training, history of music, and choral techniques.

Bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques. - Psychology in LUMSA University in Rome
Thesis: neurobiological processes of procedural memory in piano cognitive training.

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music of UK - ABRSM in Rome --> Grade 8 piano: passed with Distinction.

My goal as a music teacher is to make the students able to experience all types of emotions by playing music, understanding the musical process from its roots with a creative approach. My lessons are designed according to the specific needs of each student and the main objective is to guide them in the optimal direction to achieve their full potential in a fun way. Thereby, the instrument becomes a tool to understand what making music really means and will be a way for the student to express his emotions. My approach to the lessons can provide a lot of creativity, fun and originality.

How will my lessons look like
From the first lesson, the student will start making music. We will begin learning the basic concepts of music, developing listening and rhythmic skills with fun exercises. Lessons will also be focused on learning the basics of music theory, creating a solid technical base and paying special attention to having a relaxed and healthy body posture. My academic and professional experience has helped me create a teaching method where improvisation is an essential tool for the student. I enjoy working on it from the beginning since it is a perfect way to develop musicality.

Playing different music genres together
As a musician, another of my sources of inspiration is to get to know and to learn from different styles, playing and experimenting with music from the classical period until the most avant-garde style. During the lessons, we will play pop, jazz, classical and many other styles. I would like to explore the instrument with the student in a fun way, growing, improving, and discovering new ways of making music together. During the lessons the students and I could play together, either playing some duos with the cello or accompanying them with the piano, which is an activity that I really enjoy. Playing together with more people and with a polyphonic instrument from the beginning will give the student clues to learn how to play in ensembles and listen to all the different voices that can be part of any musical composition.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. Lessons in Utrecht (and surroundings), Houten, Vleuten, De Meern, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

Learn to enjoy music together while playing cello with me!

I obtained my Classical Piano and Classical Harmony Diploma in Thessaloniki, Greece, and I am currently in the Master's Program (Piano Performance, second subject Music Production) in the HKU Conservatorium, specializing in Contemporary Music and researching about the combination of Piano with Live Electronics. My name is Vasileios, also known as Billy, and I am a
master's student in the Jazz Department at HKU in Applied Science. I am
fresh in town, currently pursuing to finish my studies while bringing a rich
background in music and education. With nearly 15 years of experience in
classical harmony, counterpoint, jazz harmony, and performance, I hold a
Bachelor's degree in Jazz Music from the Liszt Ferenc Academy in
Budapest, Hungary.
My primary instrument is the drums, but I am also
proficient in jazz piano, vibraphone, and body percussion

In addition to my musical background, I am experienced in Konnakol, the
classical Indian rhythmic language, which has further deepened my
understanding of rhythm and enhanced my teaching techniques.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in teaching, with over 5 years of
experience in rhythm lab education, body percussion, and leading jam and
improvisation workshops for students of all ages. My approach combines
technical skills with creative expression, fostering an open and engaging
learning environment.

I am a positive, calm, open ,focused, and disciplined person who enjoys
