My teaching style mainly revolves around being creative (you're never too old to learn the fun way)! I like to keep your language goals, hobbies and personality in mind when designing classes. And most importantly I pride myself in creating a safe space where you are kind to yourself and find your voice in English!

I am from Yorkshire, a county in the north of England known for its Roman and Viking heritage. At 18 I moved to Warwick in the heart of England to study Physics. Then I moved even further south, to London. During my PhD in Geoscience in London I started tutoring science privately. After my PhD I lectured for 1 year at University College London. In 2020 I moved to Potsdam and I spent 2 years as a researcher at the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences. In 2023 I started to return to teaching. I currently teach English and Yoga in Potsdam. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them build confidence in English.

Foreign languages become more and more popular nowadays. It's so useful for traveling, studying, work or just for fun. On my lessons you will discover other languages as a culture. You will get a lot of information, friendly teacher and language skills. That's for sure won't be wasting of time!

These courses aim to help anyone (of any level) to reach their goal in the desired language. I tend to favor learning by
- speaking the language in question,
- giving some homework
- setting ambitious but achievable goals

I also offer tutoring courses for children / adolescents to help them with their school program.
Classes can be done by Skype or on site.

French and English are two languages that I speak. I lived in Chicago until I was 11 years old and then I moved to France, where I graduated from high school in two languages (German and French).

I can adapt to any language level once I get to know my student.

My schedule changes from week to week but I am usually always available after 6pm, otherwise lunchtime lessons can be considered. I am available to do homework with the children, review their vocabulary or simply meet up to speak English or French together. I am patient and like to talk with children to deepen their knowledge.
