I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Currently a final year Master's student in International Studies, I offer courses in Arabic, French and history-geography. My two mother tongues are Arabic and French, which I teach to different audiences (children, teenagers, adults), in school settings or in private lessons. I also have a degree in history, which allows me to offer solid courses in history and geopolitics, related to my academic field of specialization. Professional teacher, French, very experienced and very serious, I offer private lessons and tutoring at a distance (by Zoom or Skype) or face-to-face (Luxembourg-city and surroundings) in French for primary school and school secondary (French, history, geography), as well as French as a foreign language (FLE) courses for children and adults. We will be focusing on history and the important human connection intertwined with each. This will give us a deeper understanding of the customs we have and seeing how they evolved to our present era. This course introduces secondary and sixth-form students to the evolution of global civilizations, with a focus on comparative history, political thought, and social transformation. Drawing on 30+ years of experience teaching History and Liberal Studies in Hong Kong—including at A-Level and university level—I guide students through themes such as colonialism, revolutions, global conflicts, and modern political ideologies. Each lesson combines primary source analysis, critical discussion, and structured writing skills (essays, arguments, and document-based questions). Ideal for students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, or international entrance exams.

Beginning with the agricultural revolution, and then the industrial revolution, and then the World Wars, investigate what led up to the Cold War. Investigate the irony of thw historical streams colliding into one with the irony of many newly liberated countries being sucked into the global battle being waged in the north. A look at a dozen of so case examples, to include Korea, Guatemala, Iran, Cuba, Chile, the Congo, Indonesia, Vietnam, Chile, Nicaragua, and Honduras, of the consequences of the Cold War. A look at modern events from Iran, the migration crisis, Cuba, Venezuela, Russian and Ukraine through the lens of the Cold War never having ended.

I am a history teacher, having graduated with honors from UNLu and honored by the National Academy of History as the highest national average. I have been focused on private education for over half a decade, both at the academic and secondary levels. Beyond my specific academic training, I have been dedicated to the study of history and social sciences for 20 years (and to the creation of a library—of almost 2,000 volumes—that is available to students: if any material is required, it is digitized and sent). I specialize in ancient history, medieval history, Argentine history, history of religions, and more. I have extensive knowledge of philosophy, theology, and the history of ideas. I also teach classes in politics, sociology, anthropology, art history, economics, and other social sciences that make up the corpus of history as a discipline. I teach a variety of lessons to students of a variety of ages as well as adults. These include courses in modern global history, Japanese history, language and culture, academic English (particularly designed to help non-native speakers develop reading and writing skills, and critical thinking). As a historian from the Pontifical Xavierian University, I am familiar with the history of Colombia, the Americas, Europe, Spain, Asia, and the Islamic world.
