This Serbian language class is designed for learners who want to develop practical communication skills while gaining insight into Serbian culture and everyday life. Lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with an emphasis on real-life usage rather than memorization alone. Students will learn essential grammar, build vocabulary, and practice pronunciation through interactive exercises and guided conversation.

The class is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate learners, with content tailored to individual goals—whether for travel, heritage learning, professional needs, or personal interest. Cultural context, common expressions, and authentic materials (music, short texts, and media) are incorporated to help students understand not just the language, but how it is naturally spoken today.

Lessons are structured, supportive, and engaging, helping students gain confidence and steadily progress in their ability to communicate in Serbian.

I offer individual Serbian lessons for everyone interested in learning the language. The lessons are adapted to the level of the student and the focus of the lessons is based on student ́s wishes, preferences or needs.
The material for the lessons is prepared by myself with the help of books and in cooperation with the student.

I am native Serbian speaker and linguist by education, thus I have necessary knowledge, methodology and experience for language teaching.
I have Masters degree in French and Romance languages and literatures from the University of Ljubljana and Université libre de Bruxelles. During and after my studies, I was offering individual and also group language lessons, among others also Serbian language lessons in the European Parliament.

In my third year of the history faculty at the Jean Moulin Lyon III University, I plan to enroll in a master's degree in medieval history. I want to write a research paper on the French and the Mongols in the 13th century. I would like to go on to write a thesis on the theme of Mongol incursions into Japan (1274 and 1281).
The sessions will aim to deepen or discover concepts about a period. I am comfortable with the era: medieval (especially from the 12th-13th century), modern (it all depends on the region and the century) as well as prehistory.
I am able to establish a progression curve, as well as adapt the lessons according to the need or simply in relation to the expectations of the student. If necessary, repetitions and accentuations on knowledge can take place.
Since I am not yet at the apotheosis of my studies, I will only offer these services to beginners or students (up to high school or first year of history school at the "maximum").
I can also offer help for tests related to the history dissertation or text commentaries, very famous and predominant exercises in studies in the history faculty.

Docteur en histoire moderne (EPHE, Paris Sorbonne), habilité aux fonctions de maître de conférences, collaborateur de la BnF, j’ai enseigné dans trois universités françaises et une université suisse, à tous les niveaux de la licence, à des étudiants dont l’histoire était la spécialité ou non.
Il peut être difficile de trouver ses marques et d’intégrer la méthode de la dissertation et du commentaire de documents en arrivant à l’université, ou en prépa. Depuis dix ans, je spécialise mon enseignement dans l’apprentissage de la problématisation, le noyau de cette méthode. Quels que soient l’époque étudiée, la spécialité, le niveau ou la quantité de connaissances possédées par l’étudiant, savoir problématiser est fondamental, assure un minimum de points et, travail aidant, permet d’arriver à des résultats excellents. Enfin, cette capacité est fondamentale pour la réussite aux concours qui suivent souvent la formation en histoire, et elle est transposable dans tous les domaines des sciences humaines.
Pas de formule magique : la problématique s’apprend comme un art, à l’usage. C’est ce qui peut provoquer des difficultés à l’université, où le nombre d’étudiants ne permet pas un nombre soutenu d’exercices avec corrections précises et personnalisées – ce qui est précisément ce que je propose.

Pour ceux qui désirent aborder des questions de connaissances plus précises, mes spécialités sont l’histoire moderne (fin XVe siècle – fin XVIIIe siècle), l’histoire culturelle, l’histoire confessionnelle (époque moderne) et les techniques de paléographie moderne.
