I'm a psychology examiner for Cambridge Assessments as well as a psychology tutor for over 5 years with students from multiple countries with different personalities and interesting capabilities.

My students come from diverse locations, such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Indonesia, Qatar, Italy, Sri Lanka, Cape Town, and Tanzania

I also conduct revision lessons to enhance students' preparation for upcoming exams. These sessions are designed to clarify complex concepts, provide effective study strategies, and address specific concerns (even the dreaded design questions!)

Furthermore, I'm a published researcher as well as a past special education teacher with over 3 years of experience as a volunteer counsellor.

Doctor in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, with a Master 2 in Biology and a Master 2 Pro in Science Communication, I teach my courses on scientific methodology and help writing research papers / TER / thesis manuscripts / internship reports. I intervene indeed on each stage of writing the manuscript by scrupulously respecting the guidelines, editorial requirements, and drafting standards (APA standards in psychology in particular). My courses and proofreading / corrections are aimed at a wide range of university courses (students from a curriculum in psychology, neuroscience, biology, sociology, medicine, international trade, marketing etc.).
In the framework of doctoral or post-doctoral research projects or of Master thesis (1 and 2), I also propose an aid to the writing of research memory in the format (or not) of scientific articles published in scientific journals international. My classes are customized to better meet the expectations of each student. I also offer help in the statistical analysis of experimental data, with a rigorous methodology adapted to your research project. For statistical help, I usually use specific professional software (Minitab type, SPSS, Statistica, Jamovi, Jasp etc.), to conduct the most rigorous statistical analysis of experimental data.

Teaching method: identification of needs and problems, identification of gaps in manuscript writing, participation in scientific reflection, suggestion of innovative methodological tools adapted to the scientific process, optimization of bibliographic research with tools adapted thematic research, coaching & confidence building, specific teaching tools, student involvement, rigorous follow-up, leading advice and recommendations. From my training in psychology, I take into account this essential component during my courses to adapt to the student, identify its shortcomings and thus propose an effective methodology to optimize its memo (written and or at the oral defense).

Everyone of us - unfortunately - gets into conflict situations now an then. Especially in those situations it would be extremely beneficial to all affected parties to understand each other, whereby this is the most unlikely occurrence then. Those conflicts pretty often tend to stir up and cause nothing than harm and suffer to all affected parties.

This course intends to convey an alternative, more empathetic perspective, which is fundamentally based on scientifical evidence derived from Social, Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology.
Equipped with this new knowledge the participant gets enabled to take a more sophisticated and sustainable position in conflicts. A perspective that should not only enhance the ability to reflect his/her own conflict-related behavior, but even more to understand the regarding behavior of other persons. Ultimately understanding the emotional behavior of him/herself and others can prepare to prospectively contribute in a constructive instead of destructive manner in case of conflicts.

Unfortunately, the following short lecture cannot convey one thing: my joy in people and in helping them. Instead, I give an overview of my skills and methodology. Briefly and humorously summarized:

Thank you for taking the time to visit. My name is Andreas, a former mechanical engineer and qualified high school teacher with a teaching diploma. Apart from teaching young people at Kanti, I have also helped young adults on their educational path as a full-time teacher at a vocational school and at university.
In total I have taught 5 years in public schools and 15+ years of tutoring. It was mainly about areas from MINT (math, physics, ...). Unusual combination but true: I am very interested in languages and have lived in both the US and Mexico, so I help some students with English and Spanish.
I'm currently taking a break from the school system and taking time for the other important things in life: family and health. I help a few selected students on their way to the leading universities, with difficult subjects or complex tasks such as statistical evaluations for the doctorate.
My students have passed their high school diploma (BM, etc.) with great success and gained access to selective subjects such as law and medicine. I have specialized in explaining exactly what is important for understanding: practical solutions and strategies for doing well in exams. My students learn exactly the shortcuts to success in a fraction of the time.
