As a professional classical singer in Europe, I offer help with singing diction in English, German, Italian & French. As a singer of Western Classical music, it is important to sound authentic and understandable in the languages we sing - especially if we don't actually speak the language in question.
As a singer, the number one job is communication. With the experience I have singing in these languages (also Russian, Czech, Danish, Hebrew and Norwegian) I can help anybody make their next performance more understandable and relatable.

من أنا؟
Originally from the US, I have been living and working as an opera singer in Austria for the last 8 years. I have always loved language and loved teaching, so during the pandemic when work stopped, I took a course to be certified as a teacher of English. I am so excited to meet new people and help them become more proficient in English. As somebody who has lived in a foreign country and has travelled for work to many countries where my knowledge of the language was limited, I know the struggles that go into everyday life in a new language. I tailor my teaching specifically to the needs of my students to help them as effectively as possible.

My name is Chris. In this course I will help you with any grammar and vocabulary needs you may have, but most importantly I hope to help you become more comfortable and confident speaking English based on your specific needs and desires for practical application, whether that be for travel, for work, or moving to an English speaking country. My goal is to create a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to expand your understanding and knowledge of English in a low pressure environment in a way that suits you best as a language learner.
