You're in good hands! As a professional cellist for 14 years now, including as a member of major European and Australian opera and philharmonic orchestras, I welcome all students, from those picking up the instrument for the first time to those preparing for professional auditions. My primary aim in teaching is to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect in which students can draw motivation to set and accomplish their goals, with my full commitment towards helping them achieve those. Getting the foundations of good playing and good musicianship right is of course a very close and no less important second! During their journey, students can count on my patience, understanding and sympathy to help them through all challenges. I tailor my teaching style to fit all students based on their individual needs and wishes, or those of their parents if they're too young to decide for themselves. I'm determined to break the stereotype of teachers being failed performers and teach not only by demonstration, but by playing with students as an accompanist or duet partner, even with absolute beginners. This course is aimed at future guitarists and musicians. The objective of this course is to learn how to play the guitar without having theoretical knowledge, as well as to learn music theory, how to read a score, the notes and know the basic notions that make up music, you will learn a variety of tapping techniques for the guitar, how to play musical pieces, I practice the Spanish theme. During my teaching lessons, the emphasis is placed on: - guitar posture, technique and sound - timing and rhythmic feeling - the accompaniment and grooves - interpretation - music theory and knowledge - improvisation - the directory (student's wishlist) The study material is made in three dimensions: scores, tutorials and coaching. After agreeing with the student on the pieces / songs to work on, the corresponding score is shared and given to the class. I go through it, and I also play it live to the student for even more accessibility. And then I explain what needs to be clarified to prepare the homework. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I will be with you, and step by step you will learn to play the guitar and know how to read musical notes to tell you my 5 year old brother is able to play the guitar.
