Most of the modern songs are composed of 4 chords repeated over and over. If you learn the 8 chords (there are only 8 chords) you can basically learn to play all modern songs. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. I can help students with their piano exams and theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I also aim to make every student coming out of the lesson feel motivated to practice and want to do their best.

I give violin lessons (also viola) for children and adults. During the first lesson we will first get acquainted and I will explain about the posture and we will first make sound. It is important to first learn the basics well (rhythm, reading notes, posture and more), I always give nice songs and if students prefer to learn to play something that is always allowed. If the student can already play then we look together for the repertoire. It is also important to practice regularly, you don't have to do much, 10 minutes a day works fine as long as it is regular. I play more classical music myself, but I can of course also play modern well-known songs.
