At the moment I am studying at the magistracy of the composition department in Haute école de musique de Genève. In addition, I already have two full educations - choral (secondary) and composer (higher). I graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory as a composer, took part in concerts and competitions in Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland as a choir singer or pianist. I also participated in international educational programs and seminars for composers: -International Academy of Composers in Tchaikovsky (Perm, Russia; September 2019) - Composer courses of the reMusik festival in St. Petersburg (Mai 2019) -International seminar for composers from MolOt-ensemble in St. Petersburg (November 2018) I have a great pedagogical experience of individual and group lessons (tutoring and working as a teacher at the summer city music camp in the St. Petersburg Academic chapel) I write music for piano, instrumental ensembles, choir, orchestra and electronics. Over the weeks, and ideally through daily work on your part, you will develop your own unique style - music that only you can make, no one else. My approach is based on quality through quantity. If you want to make good music, you have to be willing to make bad music. And a lot ! I will teach you how to strengthen your mindset to overcome all the psychological blockages that creators face. Thanks to this methodology, you will progress very quickly while having fun. I'm twenty four years old. I finished my maturity in the summer of 2015 in the Kantonsschule Wiedikon in Zurich in the musical field. With 8 years I started my first piano lessons, which were mainly focused on classical pieces and theory. As soon as I chose my musical orientation in college, I received an intern teacher, who helped me to develop my improvisational skills and introduced me to genres like Jazz, Blues & Boogie Woogie. My teaching experience I developed mainly during my civil service, where I introduced asylum seekers via projects to the diversity of music. With my well-tempered attitude and patience i find it easy to transfer the knowledge I have and am very adaptive to different kinds of learning behaviors. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly if you use computers to generate and play back your own music. I have had a great interest in composing for over 45 years. I have composed for various combinations of instruments and voices in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. These opportunities have enabled me to tutor students in a diverse variety of genres. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition.
