Teaching experience of 10 years ABRSM vocal exams from grades 1-8. As a singing teacher, I will prepare children for their Secondary School entrance exams as well as for ABRSM exams. For adults, I will prepare students for auditions whether it is for conservatoires, universities and opera/musical theatre companies.
I have recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music at the Opera school. I also obtained my BMus, Masters and LRAM degree at the Royal Academy of Music after having studied there for 7 years.

On top of that, I also helped my brother gain entry into Cambridge University for Economics and have seen countless other students succeed under my mentorship. This is because I recognise that there is a process and that if students follow that process, they are guaranteed to succeed.

I try my best to make learning enjoyable for students but I also have high expectations as I believe every student has it in them to achieve the top grades.

I provide homework for each and every lesson. If students struggle with it, they come to me the following lesson and we go through the mistakes. I teach them the techniques to combat their weaknesses and this ensures they are ironed out, guaranteeing improvement. Students can also bring me work they are struggling with independently.

I am a tenacious, fun loving and laid back mathematics teacher among members of staff. Alongside my tutoring work, I am a professional playwright and theatre critic. I have studied theatre at the University of York, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and I am a member of the Soho Theatre Writers Group. My plays have been staged at the Edinburgh Fringe, York Theatre Royal and across Fringe venues in London. With my A/AS-Level Drama support classes, we will examine and explore the history behind a number of the key texts on the specifications for OCR, Pearson and EDUQAS:

In classes, we will look at the context in which these plays were written, the cultural impact they had and how to use this in essays to demonstrate your broader knowledge of the set texts. Aside from the plays themselves, it is important to understand the wider world of theatre. We will look at the plays of Samuel Beckett, Jean Genet and Theatre of the Absurd for Dario Fo. The history of Theatre censorship and the Royal Court Theatre is crucial to understanding Edward Bond's Saved.

This class will give you the opportunity to explore these complex texts with a practising playwright, and the expanded knowledge of these plays will give you that edge when it comes to the exam.

Sebastian is an experienced British Drummer, Sessional Player, Composer and Drum Tutor. He began to learn the Drums at the age of 6 and went on to complete Trinity Guildhall Drums (Grades 1-8) and holds a Grade 1 in ABRSM Music Theory.
Sebastian’s versatility ranges from Rock, to Funk, to Jazz and to Classical. During his secondary school era, Sebastian attended classes at C.Y.M. (Centre for Young Musicians) consisting of Percussion Ensembles, Symphony Orchestras, Jazz Bands and Music Technology. Additionally, he was a member of B.Y.W.O. (Barnet Youth Wind Orchestra) and N.Y.J.O. (National Youth Jazz Orchestra).
Whilst taking a Higher Diploma in Music Performance and ultimately a BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance Degree at I.C.M.P. (The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance) in London, Sebastian has been teaching Drums to beginner and intermediate students (Privately, in Groups and Virtually). Furthermore, Sebastian has taught Percussion to pupils with disabilities at the Leonard Cheshire Archive Centre.
