ABOUT ME:
Art Dip, Opera Dip, BMus (all Honours). I am Canadian, living and teaching from home in West London. I taught voice at the University of Western Ontario and coached at Universities of Toronto, British Columbia and Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), as well as at Tapestry New Opera, Soundstreams Canada and the Canadian Music Centre. Some of my students have gone on to perform at major opera houses, theatre festivals and professional choirs, while some have gained the confidence to sing a solo at their local church or community event. Some have completed their ABRSM or Trinity exams, or auditioned for conservatoire/university, which I help prepare them for. Seeing my students shine (both on stage and off) fills me with humble pride and fulfillment. We will strive to find the authentic version of your voice, which is important in ANY style of music we sing. You want to sound like YOU, right? I followed a classical training for 13 years in clarinet and in lyrical singing for 5 years. I recently finished a 5-year training at the Paris Conservatory as a singer in contemporary music and I am now graduated from this training (jazz, soul, rnb, metal, rock, musical comedy, French song ...). This year I entered a Master of Music and Performance in London.

To improve your confidence in singing and performance, or to greatly improve technique and skill level, these singing lessons are for you!

An hour class starts with technique exercises, including body awareness, and then moves into repertoire for the last half an hour. Repertoire is provided, and backing tracks are given for practise.

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.
My lessons are for all ages, all levels, and all voices. I specialised in the voice of Countertenor.

Vocalists are needed everywhere and it is important to learn how to control your voice and view it as an instrument. With my lessons you will be taught in a fun and educational way with lessons tailored to each students preference and abilities. They would include teaching techniques and helping to build a strong foundation of knowledge with how specific techniques work through warm ups and song choices by myself and the student.

Vocal classes also include working towards grades, specifically Rockschool and learning the theoretical side of music.

We offer Singing Lessons to all ages and levels of ability with our enthusiastic, professional teachers. Our lessons are available at two locations in Crouch End (N8) and Thursdays in Crouch End and Mayfair (W1K).

With a sound vocal technique, our singers are encouraged to try as many styles of singing as possible. We have jazz, folk, classical, contemporary, and musical workshops for our students.

I'm a singer and bassist based in London, ICMP alumni, graduated in Popular Music Performance specialising in Vocals.
