Portuguese & French Classes | Ready to finally learn and speak ?

Portuguese (or "Brazilian") is my native language. French too, as I moved very young to Switzerland (Geneva, the "French part"). I speak both fluently but now living in the Netherlands, I am using more English (and of course, Dutch!). In order to keep speaking the languages I love, I decided to give some classes. I hope you will be interested too!

I am an open-minded person! I love traveling and discovering new places, new people and specially new cultures! I consider myself lucky to be part of this international world where I can be myself: a real bicultural person.

I am flexible and I can say that I adapt very quickly to new situations. I like new challenges and teaching is one of them. For me, if you (the learner) did not understand something, it is my job to make sure I explain differently.

The "fault" is never yours, you must ask questions! It is not your capacity to understand that is "en jeu/a problem" but my capability to explain to you. So I will keep going, explaining in different words. Until you are satisfied with the class and of course... With yourself!

Opleiding

Bachelor & Master in Psychology.
Studied at University of Geneva (Master in Clinical Psychology).
In 2019, studied at University of Amsterdam (Master in Cultural Psychology)

Want to expand and improve your knowledge of the English language and gain more self-confidence? Which can! With my varied conversation lessons, alternating with reading, listening and short tests, we playfully build on better pronunciation and understanding. The lessons are adapted to your needs and we can certainly work on specific goals.
I have more than 40 years of experience with the English language, have lived in South West England for > 16 years and worked for many years in business in both the UK and the Netherlands. With a lot of hands-on experience with the language and internally improving the language use of international colleagues (Thailand, Philippines, Dutch, etc.), I now also have a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate and have now focused on teaching.

I also enjoy teaching and tutoring in the Dutch language for non-native speakers and am happy to help you broaden your knowledge of not only the language but also Dutch customs and traditions.
