Then there is the analysis of a piece of music that can be so confusing that we could spend some valuable one-to-one time on. I am here to help and below are some reasons why I am well suited to give you the appropriate advice that you need. I worked in a comprehensive school teaching music for over 35 years. In that time I engaged with many different exam boards at GCSE and A level delivering a range of different courses. Hello! My name is Yuriy, and I’m happy to welcome you to my piano studio! I’m a performing pianist and a private piano teacher. Lessons are held on a concert grand piano — Estonia — with an excellent sound. The best way to start is with a free 30-minute trial lesson. Experience I have been working for over ten years with children from the age of 4 and with adults. I work with those who play for their own enjoyment or personal development, as well as with those pursuing a professional career — from complete beginners to advanced levels. I have successfully prepared students for piano exams in music schools, colleges, and universities, including international systems (e.g., ABRSM). With students who play for themselves, we work long-term at a comfortable pace, exploring the areas of music they’re interested in. I help adults develop a solid technical foundation. I also have experience working with children and adults with various developmental differences (ASD, ADHD, disabilities). I can help with: * playing your favorite pieces * learning various genres (classical, pop, pop, rock, jazz, boogie-woogie, etc.) * mastering all types of piano techniques * musical notation, music theory, solfeggio * preparing for professional exams or performances My approach I use an individual approach in my work, first of all I start from what the student needs, I listen to him, I look for an approach to help him improve his playing level. Fantastic teacher!! Giora is a professional musician and a fantastic teacher. He knows exactly what the student needs and his teaching methods are great. From the first assessment meeting he managed to spot the strengths and weaknesses, he listened well to what I want and what's my goal and devised a plan for me to reach it. He's not judgemental, provides timely feedback and compliments/appreciates the strengths and gives constructive/motivational feedback when needed. Moreover, he's very friendly, hospitable and also funny. For anyone who wants to learn piano, whether a beginner student or an advanced player, I highly recommend Giora.

Estella is a very positive, always happy teacher. Even though my son has been having on-line lessons with her, we can always feel her positive attitude during the lessons. She is very patient, gives lots of important tips and feedback, which has been helping him to guide his learning, improving in every aspect of it. We can see how much she care about the whole learning experience. It’s been very useful to expend his time while at home doing the lessons. He has been practicing more and has been feeling more motivated since he started the lessons with her. We definitely recommend her as a Saxophone teacher!
