Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school. Sometimes I could overhear the online lessons or even 'live lessons' when he came home. Tom is great, with lots of patience, straight to the point, know how to explain, never lose the temper. In terms of vocabulary, I had a good foundation through Duolingo. Decided to take one-to-one lessons with Palina to also improve grammar and listening and speaking skills. Now at lesson 4 and very happy with my choice :). After saying hello (in Russian of course) the lesson starts with a listening or speaking practice, followed by a short repetition of the grammar rule of the previous lesson and the introduction of a new grammar rule. Keep in mind, however, that the structure of lessons may depend on your level of Russian.
