Ich bin Deutsche und wohne seit 24 Jahren in England. Ich arbeite in England als Lehrerin für Englisch als Fremdsprache, Deutsch als Fremdsprache, und ich unterrichte auch Englisch und Deutsch privat.

Ich arbeite mit Kindern und Erwachsenen aus allen Teilen der Welt, und liebe es, meinen Enthusiasmus für Sprachen weiterzuvermitteln. Mein Unterricht ist locker, interaktiv und interessant, und meine Schüler machen sichtbare Fortschritte.

Education

Nach meinem Besuch der POS (Polytechnische Oberschule) in Gera, Thüringen, habe ich eine Ausbildung zur Datenfachverarbeiterin gemacht.

Danach habe ich in Deutschland und Norwegen Betriebswirtschaft studiert. Im Jahre 1996 bin ich nach England gezogen, um in einer Softwarefirma zu arbeiten. Nach einigen Jahren als Marketingassistentin und Graphic Designerin in verschiedenen Firmen und später dann selbständig, habe ich begonnen, an einer Privatschule in Bristol als Deutsche Sprachassistentin zu arbeiten.

Hier wurde der Grundstein für meine Laufbahn als Sprachlehrerin gelegt. Das Unterrichten hat mir so viel Spaß gemacht, daß ich begann, auch privat zu unterrichten. Ich habe dann auch noch an einer zweiten Privatschule angefangen.

Später habe ich meine CELTA Qualifikation (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages - Cambridge) gemacht und angefangen, ausländische Erwachsene in Bath College zu unterrichten, wo ich auch heute noch arbeite.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
