I'm a cellist from Portugal currently studying Master's degree in Classical Music Performance at Hochschule Luzern. I've been teaching cello to all ages and levels since I was 16 years old. I have taught at Academy environments but also as a private tutor in person or via the internet (skype, zoom, etc). My goal is to make my students understand and love music as much as I do, in an exciting, fun, and motivating way. Whether you want to learn an instrument for vocation and profession or just for a hobby, I'd be glad to help you enter the magical world of music!

I'm 22 years old but already have a lot of experience in the field of classical music performance and teaching. I consider myself a very calm person and patient when teaching, I'm not only into Classical Music, I enjoy all styles especially Jazz, Rock, and Hip Hop. I'm involved in several Musical Projects with different characters including a cello Duo that specializes in traditional Portuguese music, a String Sextet, and also do artistic volunteering at nursing homes and centers for palliative care. I love sharing music with everyone open to it!

Education

Bachelor's degree in instrumental execution at ESMAE, Portugal with a final average score of 17,7/20.
Currently studying Master's Degree in Classical Music Performance at Hochschule Luzern - Musik.

Experience in teaching young children, teenagers, and young adults both privately and at Music Academy environment. Open to all kinds of challenges!

Do you want to learn to play the flute? Or have you been playing for a few years and want to go one step further with your instrument?

The course is open to both beginners and advanced learners.
I have a classical education and can pass on the basics of this music. But the repertoire is not limited in classical music: if you feel like playing improvisation, jazz, folk, film or world music, you can do it in this course too.

As a student on the bachelor's degree in harp at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, I have been playing the harp for 15 years. After completing my master's degree in sound engineering in Paris, I came to Lucerne to continue my music studies.

I love teaching and often work as a substitute in Freienbach, Einsiedeln and Genève. I also gave numerous private lessons in France, both in harp and theory.

I adapt completely to your wishes. I can help you practice pieces of your choice but also suggest pieces at your level. I will help you advance your technique, relaxation and musicality and give you working tips - all without forgetting the joy of playing!

My name is Marie and I'm originally from Paris. I began my music studies at the age of 5 and then studied flute with F. Chatoux, the principal flutist of the Paris Opera. After receiving the highest study award at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris from N. Rozat, I joined P. Grehl's class in music at the HSLU Lucerne in the summer of 2018. In the summer of 2021, I completed my bachelor's degree with Pirmin Grehl in Lucerne and am currently completing my music education studies at
Pirmin Grehl with a minor in orchestra under Sarah Rumer. I have won first prize twice in national competitions in France and Switzerland.

I would like to pass on my passion and skills to everyone who wants to play this wonderful instrument, whether to support the teacher at the conservatory or for your own enjoyment.
I adapt to each individual's personality, their musical wishes for the repertoire and their goals.
I will accompany you as far as you wish, with fun with music, hard work and a good mood!
